Juggalos and Juggalettes: Let me tell you about a project that an amateur filmmaker is currently working on. A few days ago, Paul Schipper approached me about a project he had an idea for, and wanted me to see if our readers were at all interested in it. The project is called “Juggalos In The Mist”, and it will eventually be a 10-part web series about Juggalos in their everyday lives.
Initially, Paul only had a short video talking about his ideas, and what kind of funding they would need. I responded to him saying that it really wasn’t enough to get behind him, because I didn’t know him at all, and wasn’t sure that the project would ever come to fruition even with the proper funding. So what did he do? He busted his ass, worked day and night for 5 entire days story-boarding, scripting, filming, and editing to come up with the pilot episode! You can see that here:

Now provided this project is funded, just know that it will be going straight to Youtube, so any profits he gets from advertising will be minimal. This project is being done out of a sheer passion! Like the first episode, there are sure to be some comedic elements to it, and overall it will shine Juggalos in a positive light!
He really sold me on his passion and work ethic on this project, so I decided to get Faygoluvers behind it! Want to see this happen? You can put your money where your mouth is and donate via Kickstarter!

For those of you who are interested, I’ll include an email that Paul Schipper sent to me telling about the trials and tribulations he faced getting this pilot episode together:
Hello Scottie D,
You’re right I didn’t have enough to show you. I got to thinking, and you got me determined. Thursday night I finished the script. Friday night my partner finished the storyboards. Saturday we filmed. Sunday we filmed. Today I edited so I could show you this as soon as possible: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5sb-LOebrY
I made that. For you. Okay, I made it for the kickstarter, the Family, my friends, and myself. But Also for you, and most importantly because of you.
I made that in five days, and you can bet your ass there were challenges. You told me to do the best I can with what I had, so I borrowed a camera. And before we could even film the first shot, due to an unbalanced tripod, our borrowed tripod fell to the ground. The camera is fine, but the thousand dollar lens looks like this: http://imgur.com/a/jqqHd
But I didn’t let that stop me. I had to make you something. So I begged another girl to loan me a camera. I told her the truth, and she said she would help. So we went back to the location, and filmed from 9 to midnight. I edited from midnight to two.
I woke up at seven on Sunday morning so I could be ready to shoot at nine. But wait, two of our main actors dropped out because their older sister doesn’t want them “to get mixed up with all that Juggalo stuff” She wouldn’t let them act in a video because of negative stereotypes. Stereotypes I’m trying to break down.
I didn’t let that stop me either. I begged two other friends that lived an hour away to take their place. They drove down to our city, practiced their lines as best as they could and hopped into character.
I spent all day editing and watching Everybody Loves Raymond. Just chugging away working to get you this video. All my friends think it’s amazing. And you know what? For five days work it’s phenomenal.
But look what happens when we try to get some support: http://imgur.com/gallery/ySmqE/new Look at all those ignorant people, blindly commenting how they wouldn’t support anything even remotely Juggalo related. I know haters are going to hate, but I think my webseries might have the power to convince people not to be such jerks.
Thanks for everything, thanks for pushing me. Please read and look at everything. I literally did all this because of you.
Forever grateful,
Paul Schipper
That’s a HELL of a lot to go through to get this project off the ground! Much props to Paul for his hard work and dedication! If you’ve got a few bucks to spare, maybe think about sliding it his way! This could be big for the entire Juggalo scene!

Ugh… crowdsourcing is great when its a product that people want. This is just glorified begging. Fills no void. I don’t need this asshat breaking down stereotypes. Give the guy money who cracks up his (borrowed) equipment? Uh… pass. Parasite.
