New article on Juggalo culture featuring FLH’s very own Scottie D and Polmar!

So a little while back, a writer named Thomas Dean hit up Scottie D and I about an article he was writing for his blog, Living In the Void. He was interested in Juggalo culture and, as an outsider to it, wanted to crack the myth on why Juggalos catch such ridicule. He conducted a short interview with us a few weeks ago, and just hit us up today with the finished article.

Now this article is great piece, it definitely gives Juggalos a positive light from an objective view. It covers many aspects and both the good and the bad, and gives Juggalos a fair chance.

Here’s an excerpt from the article:

Most people struggle to find their place among the precarious social strata of mainstream society, whereas the Juggalos enjoy that familial embrace of people who they share common interests with. Every volley of denigration, castigation, and deprecation aimed at them, is a reflection of contemporary culture’s ignorance, bred from a void in understanding and empathy. The problem isn’t the face paint, the Faygo, or the two “serial killin” clowns. The problem is that people just don’t get it

Excellent article. Outsiders truly do not understand the feeling you get as a Juggalo until you experience it yourself. I have witnessed people who thought I was “crazy” for being a Juggalo and getting sprayed with faygo at shows ect. until they came to a show with me and experienced an ICP show from the front row. It’s undeniable the feeling you get and the Family love shown at the shows. After being a Juggalo for over 15 years, it’s nice to see these positive articles about us. MCL
