Matt Osborne, The Original Doink The Clown, Dead At Age 55.

Matthew Osborne, a wrestling lifer who will forever be known as a symbol of the WWF’s cartoonish early-’90s era has passed away today at the age of 55. He was living with his girlfriend, who found him dead this morning. No other details are known as of yet. Matt most famously wrestled as the original Doink the Clown in the WWF.

    Matt Osborne was in the Royal Rumble as Doink at at the 2011 Gathering, he was way into it, Doink’s the shit. I remember when Violent J and Corporal Robinson did commentary on that match during their Psychopathic Radio show last year, Corp said they had to make a trip to the drug bridge to keep Doink happy. 2 Tuff Tony even mentioned he was battling “them crack demons”. Seems being an old wrestler is a tough deal. Rest in Peace Matt, you entertained my ass a lot when you were alive.
