Now hopefully some of you remember that ninja Shawn Wolf from Arizona that made headlines last August when he was denied custody rights to his son because he was a Juggalo. For those who may be unfamiliar with the story, you can read ScottieD‘s article on it here. Basically, the State of California denied Shawn custody because when they arrived to inspect his home, they found it decorated in all sorts of Juggalo fashion.

Well Shawn hit us up to give us a little update on what’s been going on since. Apparently him and his girl were recently looking at a home to rent, but their application was denied because of an internet background check that resulted in Scottie’s above-mentioned article. According to the email the landlords sent him, they felt that his:

“involvement with the Juggalos…is a concern.”

This is another prime example of why we as Juggalos need to stick together and inform others on what we truly stand for. Everyday more and more ninjas are being harassed, quite often for little more than wearing a Hatchetman t-shirt. The trial date for ICP’s appeal to the FBI isn’t set to happen until next March, so we still may have a long road ahead of us.
