Article at HuffingtonPost.com: Juggalos are “kinda bad..but definitely not a gang”

An article popped up about a month ago over at HuffingtonPost.com providing a somewhat better image of Juggalos than most other media outlets do. The journalist who wrote the article, Mallika Rao, states that Juggalos are not so bad, and have families and dreams like anyone else. The article also goes on to explore a “new field of learning” dubbed ‘Juggalo Journalism.’

Juggalo Journalism, first coined by a Forbes writer in 2011, is the study of Juggalos on all levels of psyche – from the carefree side to the dangerous side. Rao rounds her post up with a list of several Juggalo documents and resources that she feels show the true nature of the Juggalo culture. She finishes the article by stating these titles may serve a useful purpose, such as “educating the FBI on why not to persecute a perfectly harmless, only occassionally murderous group.

Many of the listed titles have been posted here on FLH and elsewhere throughout the past, but for those who are interested in checking them out, the link to the article is here.
