What I am about to post is truly devastating. Our homie, and long-time reader Sarita Parker shot us an email because of something that happened to her and her family just 2 days after christmas. She, her husband, and her 9 month-old son weren’t home when it happened, but their animals were. Their 2 cats lost their lives, but luckily their dogs made it out ok. They are now displaced into a hotel for what could be 6 months. On top of that, Sarita’s birthday was yesterday. What a way to ring in the new year, right? I can’t even imagine losing almost everything in a fire, and then not even being able to return to normalcy for a majority of the year. Needless to say, this family needs some love.
