As I’m sure we all recall, recently an ABC affiliate in Redding, California did a story on Juggalos being a ‘gang’. The story was a bit over the top in some ways, displaying graphics that mentioned Hatchetmen tattoos, Insane Clown Posse CD’s and Stickers as some of the things to look for when figuring out whether kids were Juggalos and involved in a gang. The main reporter of the story did make it clear several times that not all Juggalos were gang members. The story of course prompted us to do what we do, and reach out to the news outlet letting them know that although there are a few bad apples in the bunch, most of us are actually great people and productive members of society.
