I think it’ll go on still, but it’ll be severely hurt by this move. Event planning takes quite a while, and venue changes are a bitch, I can only imagine it is even more so for something this big.

I think that ticket sales will drop because of this, I also hope that where ever it goes to doesn’t get the Kaiser treatment and get booted before it starts.

Lets hold GOTJ in the middle of the ocean.

Brian Poshein and Bobcat Goldthwaite getting good money and playing then talking shit after. That was odd. 

 

Brian Posehn was a stoner comic who quit smoking weed right before getting booked to do the Gathering. Talk about shit timing. Juggalos were able to guilt him into taking a hit off a massive bong during his set at the Gathering, so I’m sure his wife gave him a bunch of shit when he got home or something, because he said he quit blazing mostly because he was a new father. If you watch footage of his set at the Gathering, dude was not that funny. Without the stoner angle you’re just left looking a nerdy fat kid waiting for the funny. Fuck him for talkin shit after for sure. Bobcat said he had a great time at the Gathering though. He even made a bit out of hanging with Upchuck, and witnessing Upchuck getting beaten, and beaned with a full can of Faygo. He told that story on like three different shows

I saw the BP GOTJ video where he was pressured to smoke. But so what? I dont smoje anymore but if i was getting paid that much to tell fart jokes and look retarded then id have a bong load to show ny appreciation. I have kids too.

But there was that Bobcat and Robin Williams thing onlibe where they were talking ferocious shit about the gathering, post-festival. I never listened to it. I dont want to since i like both of those comics, abd dont want to hear how growing old makes them try to talk shit about the easiest targets in the world (juggalos) to remain edgy.

They weren’t really talkin shit if you listen to it, the host of the podcast was talkin more shit then Bobcat and Robin. They discussed Upchuck getting sprayed with Faygo, and Robin said Upchuck’s biography would be called “It Doesn’t Stain”, which I thought was pretty funny
