Many years ago, a dj/producer-type friend I worked with... We used to challenge each other "lyrically/grammatically"... (friendly adversaries that held the same club residency and ALSO worked the same day-job)...

Blah, blah, blah... One day, we thought of coming up with "who could come up with" the longest alliterative sentence with the same repeated letter of the alphabet...

It just so happened to be the letter "S"...

What follows is the "poem slash alliterative sentence" I came up with.

It describes an ACTUAL event that ACTUALLY HAPPENED to me, facilitated by the use of that letter, -S-

Here's YOUR challenge:

IF AFTER reading my "poem", you can come up with a descriptive AND SPECIFIC narrative of what I am describing IN said "poem"... if you do...

...regardless of either of our abilities to Gather...

"The Letter 'S'" circa 2009/10

Slow suffering surely sounds somewhat savory sans severity and somehow seriously superior to salivating succulently at slimy suckasses severing supposedly sacred associations especially sanctified sacrementally scores of seasons ago scantly reminisced save some secret skeptisicms succored sparingly after seeing something soaringly and suspiciously unserendipitous striking selfish strings secondarily strained surpassing stressed statements spoken unsurreptitiously, side-stepping confusion so as said someone sighted should succumb silenty without speculating stronger suppositions, stealthily succeeding sabotage sacrificing sadness, saintly salting searing lashes swiped savagely across soft skin whispered sanguine salutations sapientially, sardonic in its stinging satisfaction, sending sobering scrutinzed sensations scattered, scuttled and seditious shamelessly skyward seeking altruistic satiations speeding steadily selfward soon...
