He'll just rip off my sleeve and call me liar
When he rips your sleeve off that's the time you flex and crush a can on your forehead(preferably bleeding) to earn his acceptance.

I received my ticket and car pass Friday evening.
I had logged on then to say so, but... Self-Centered, Wanna-Be Dictators Gotta Dick-Tate!
...astounding. I go silent in order to avoid the same accusations I met by speaking up...
"Kill Your Local Party Planner!"
Day 0 - Mid-Day
I'm excited to see old friends and make new ones!
I will bring our Faygoluvers flag (which I was gonna make a new version of) but perhaps this time without the flagpole, as I no longer have a station wagon to comfortably get it there.
Of course, I will be bringing The Toy Box...
Thank you for making that special for me.
In the spirit of things...
Here's a few products I fully endorse and recommend as being helpful to a "successful Village experience"!
...and don't be caught DEAD without...
I honestly and truly hope that I can find The Faygoluvers.net Forum Village again!

I've seen @frog 's wheel almost every year since 2012, I think. I did not see it last year but I really only explored less than half of the Gathering in Oklahoma.
HogRock was the best for exploration. The distinct differences in layout and environment of the various areas lead to little subcultures forming. Legend Valley has some of that but I feel it is not to the degree of HogRock. Hidden Lakes was in a big circle so it seemed more homogenous. It didn't drive me to explore.

I like music. I like girls.
I like girls in my music.
I like girls that make music.
I like music made by girls.
Do you like girls?
DID YOU KNOW: the term 'windowlicker" means something different if you don't speak "English"? ...and has everything and nothing to do with Garfield: The Cat?! It's true.

Sup ninjas, this will be my first gathering so I was wanting some advice. I've already read a ton on here and still have a few questions...
1. If I put a lock on my tent, will my stuff be safe? I know people on here aren't psychics and I plan on locking valuables up in my car, but has anyone had their tent sliced open or ripped apart? If that's an issue, I just won't lock it. Also plan on having a hammock at my site, what are the odds of it walking off?
2. Any suggestion on which campground to go to?
3. Any events that are absolutely mind blowing that I should not miss. I was planning on watching the shows and walking around the rest of the time with some gummies and beer and just checking out whatever I came across.

1. I've never locked my tent, but then again, I keep all my valuable locked in my car. If you are getting a car pass, that is the way to go.
From past experience, I've never had anything stolen from my site. Other people have though, so use your best judgement.
2. For campground it depends on some of the following: Do you want an easy exit from the grounds come Sunday? Do you want to be able to sleep at night without being next to a stage that goes till 5AM? Are you getting a car pass (some campgrounds don't always allow cars)?
3. Don't miss ICP. Other than that, it's really pick your poison (in a good way)

I debate the lock thing every year. I usually decide NOT to lock it because I figure if someone's going to be a big enough jerk to steal, they won't care about cutting up your tent. One year I had everything stolen from me (and all the tents around too) during ICP. I was devastated, like allll my hatchetgear. (Side note, technically not everything, somehow they had missed one small bag that had the shirt my dead homie gave me in it, which was incredibly sentimental, so I still look at the bright side of things). Also this is why we always have at least one person willing to miss ICP to watch the tents now.
I still doubt that just a normal juggalo is going to walk by and steal your hammock, but also you just never know who is around, so I'd probably be cautious.
Honestly the best thing you can do is make friends with your neighbors, and everyone watch out for each other.
What someone else said, campground completely depends on your preference.
I really like the seminars, but others find them boring so I guess that's all down to preference too lol

I think one of the benefits (in theory at least) of camping in a village is that theft becomes less of a problem.
