the best thing about the gathering is not the concerts [which are cool], its not the non-stop parties and dancing and playing and having fun [which is cool]. the best thing, is adding to an ever-growing list of gathering homies.

The problem with meeting up at lake hep is its right by the main drag and theres a lot of commotion. Its also across from the Spazmatic tent which is usually bumping loud music I recommend following scruffys wrestling stage idea. Its rather abandoned when nothing is going on in that area. Or you guys could utilize the seminar tent when nothings popping off there. Just spitballing here as I cannot attend.

Honestly, I’d be totally shocked. My experience at the last few gatherings is that during ICP there isn’t really much of a mosh pit to speak of, and barring a mosh pit scenario I think I can honestly say that GOTJ is full of a bunch of sweethearts… and I don’t mean that in a demeaning way, but I think the sugary language really gets across how friendly, generous, and accommodating everybody is.
In the six years I’ve been to GOTJ I’ve witnessed only one real act of violence, put forth on somebody making trades with fake money. OH, that and the guy who’s car got flipped and stripped last year, but he was allegedly stealing. Really, not so bad given our reputation.
