I think UPCHUCK might be fucked out of job.He is not listed as the host for the comedy events, or as the Judge for Juggalo Night Court in this year’s program. JUMPSTEADY said in the FLH interview he just did that nobody is back from last year, it is an all new team running the Gathering this year. He also said he didn’t like the way some of the events were being hosted last year. Wonder if that means UPCHUCK got the bone. I think he has always done a good job, would suck to see him leave the Hatchet family in my opinion.

Just a day or two ago, I emailed him asking him if he’d be there because I didn’t see any mention of him on the schedule. It was one of the questions I had to ask Jumpsteady, but with the interview running over 1-1/2 hours, it was one of the questions I had to nix. Joel (Upchuck) said that he would do it if his schedule allowed it. I guess we’ll see.

The answer he gave Scottie D clearly indicates he was not asked this year, otherwise he would have told Scottie D he was busy and turned them down. I listen to Joel’s podcast on the regular. He likes the Upchuck Gig, it raises his profile in the comedy community for sure.He would have wanted to be at the Gathering.Shit does happen, doesn’t make it right.
