The couple things *I am getting sick of hearing about her are:
1) "She's an inspiration"... INSPIRATION TO WHAT!?!? What does her lyrics "inspire" in a person other than a REaffirmation that... ya know... rape is bad and... like... don't do that. At no point on that EP does she ever take a dominant position over the events she describes which I could understand might illicit an "inspiring" note. I just don't get it.
2) "Plenty of other Psychopathic artists got hated on when they first came out".... yeah ... but they kinda all had a back catalog of some kind. Ya know... they were already on a path of their own making. Like Twiztid was HOK and Hoodoo was Doe Dubbla etc. That's just some false equivalency type bullshit. This girl wasn't on some grind on a musical trajectory she had geared her entire life for. Whitney is. Snow is. Molly is (was 'er whatever). Fuck, what about Razakeal? There is a LIST of women in hip-hop (albeit a relatively short one by comparison) that have been PUTTING IN WORK. The feministic part of my brain just can't contend with how Blahzay just suddenly "came into being" (pun?). As far as I'm concerned, this EP of hers is just a big 'ol slap in the face to anyone out there with a vagina that has CHOSEN to fight against the misogyny and NOT get to where they are via a casting couch. Blahzay will never be able to live that down in the eyes of those that are mindful of such things. I may not buy a bunch of stuff from the above named artists but I SURE AS FUCK respect their game BECAUSE of that fact. That's like comparing what all the women of hip-hop managed to achieve on TALENT AND SKILL like Salt-N-Pepa or TLC to all the plastic surgery it took to make Nicki Minaj.
I'm not one of those people that are hating on her BECAUSE she is female. I'm "hatin'" on her because she is a female that got what she did (quite frankly) "THE WRONG WAY"... in *my eyes. And I ain't even female. I can only IMAGINE how Lette's must feel about it. But I guess that's just "bitches bein' catty"? I'm not buying it. Just like that Ghostbusters bullshit. I don't have to hate women to not like what I'm seeing and hearing. Sure, I can just leave it at that but what it really comes down to with me is this:
We do not OWE this girl a career. We do not have a responsibility of making sure she is a success.
People wanna talk about "earning"? Well, as I've said, she ain't done no work so she ain't "earned" shit. This ain't a modelling career but she's been all but plucked from a mall and stuck in front of a camera and we're all supposed to be WOWED by her? Pfft...
ScottieD said She doesn't make a lot of eye contact. Can you imagine having that much social anxiety and then all of a sudden being thrust into the spotlight and scrutinized by much of the audience, and even some close to the label (Sugar Slam)? I consider myself a pretty together person and I know that I would find that pretty difficult to handle.
Gee, you'd think that would be something you'd have to overcome BEFORE GETTING SIGNED TO A MUSIC LABEL?! You don't sign on for the lead role of a Shakespeare play if you can't even be an extra without fucking it up. Are we supposed to feel SORRY for her in that respect? And for that matter, at what point does our "feeling sorry for her past" begin to overextend her ability? How much time does/should that buy her? Again.... we owe her nothing. Nothing but a full listen of that EP. And I have....
My opinion of her can TOTALLY change. But it has to come FROM HER. NOT some process of grinding us down or levels of forgiveness given her described past or gimmicky bullshit from a record label (which would make Psychopathic every bit as shitty for doing so as the people that brought us N'Sync and The Backstreet Boys). Sell me something because IT IS GOOD not because it is THE NEW THING.
Whatever Blahzay Roze's new "thing" will be, it BETTER be fucking AMAZING!!!! And it's NOT "on us" to have to like it or make it great. That falls on Violent J's head. He better make sure that her next release is fuckin' gangbusters (inappropriate pun?) cuz anything less...? Let's just say, Cold187um will be making a comeback HARD!
Out.

I didn't get any inspirational shit from her E.P. either. Was it suppose to be inspiring though? I took that E.P as more of an attempt, no matter how bad it was as doing it or not, to show us her perspective. You were looking into someones house, not being inspired to build your own.
We do not OWE this girl a career. We do not have a responsibility of making sure she is a success.

Is it on her to make you like her or on J? You're sayin both, if I'm understanding that right.
Also, why does her next album have to be fuckin gangbusters? You act like they owe you something, man. If you don't like it, that's fine. Don't like it. They don't have to make music for you specifically. Some people will like it and some wont. Just like literally everything else to ever come out in any form of entertainment ever. Why is she an exception?

Don't lash out at me because that shit left you sexually confused.
Go back to working on your sloppy seconds podcast, where you report on all the shit we know about already.
Dude. Your so pissed that Blahzay had sex with J and you're saying I'm the one sexually frustrated?
I'm willing to bet you're a virgin and probably secretly gay. Probably why you're so upset about J sleeping with Blahzay.
It's ok though...
Can't fault you. I'd be pissed too if I was you.

Honestly I like how professional the FLH crew and Mods are. They handle situations like Blahzay and Young Wicked drama with a lot of poise. I mean yeah I bitch and moan about not feeling in the loop sometimes but overall Scottie and his crew are pretty good at what they do. Not only that but Scottie has surrounded himself with people from different backgrounds with different perspectives and outlooks which seems to work really well with how everything is ran.

Why are you constantly trying to put people down? I feel like I am watching mean girls or some other shit my wife enjoys just reading the crap you post on here sometimes. The crazy thing is that you seem a bit Bipolar or something because sometimes you make genuine and great posts then other times you spazz out like you just remembered a childhood trauma or something.
What is actually upsetting you? Scottie D's banning of your friend? Rosco's ability to contribute to the forums? Or Scruffy still being a mod?
Or is it you hate Blahzay for some random reason?
I mean I have heard so many complaints from you in the last few months that I thought you had really lost your fucking mind. Help me out here...what is your PROBLEM? Explain it to me so that I can understand where the fuck you are coming from because right now it seems like you simply want to hate everything that comes your way.

I thought it was a good interview, I appreciated getting to hear Blahzay's point of view. All this shit about Scotty not asking tough enough questions or editing the interview to protect her is fucking ridiculous IMO. If anything, it strikes me as the other way around- the whole interview is basically like she's on trial. Which, under the circumstances, I totally understand and it was probably good for her too to have a chance to respond to the critcisms. But I hope we get to the point where an interview with Blahzay can be focused on the normal shit that artists talk about in interviews, rather than all this soap opera shit.

Right...like the times we ask Twiztid about their relationship with Psychopathic on camera. Like the time we interviewed ABK about why he left Psychopathic Records. Like the time we interviewed Lavel after he left and wasn't too kind with his wording. Did Psychopathic request that I conduct the interview with her? Absolutely. They felt like she needed to talk about herself and her personal experiences rather than having someone else do it for her (ex: The Weekly Freekly). I conducted the interview to the best of my ability, and Ryan Archibald tightened it up to make sure people didn't scoff at the idea of investing so much time into watching it. Let me reiterate...I did not edit the video. Repeat: I DID NOT EDIT THE VIDEO. I went there, conducted the interview, and all of the footage was left there. It was heavily edited...how else are you supposed to put together footage from 3 different angles?
I knew this would be heavily scrutinized no matter how honest we both were. Either way though, this is the truth from her perspective, and you can take that however you'd like.
I laid a beat to your interview with ABK back in the day... people need to hear it... I'll try to get it on here soon.

True, true.
That came out as a bit of a double negative but I was meaning it in more of a devil's advocate way and not an expression of "what it'll take" for me personally.
In correction, it's on Blahzay to make me like her (as you say) and for the second part; "For J's sake, I hope Blahzay's "new thing" WILL be gangbusters". This is his little project he brought into being. He's the one (and YW) that did the work. He is the motivating force in this and like I've previously said, the work he and Young Wicked put into the EP is the only positive takeaway from it. "Everything that has nothing to do with her voice..." was quite good. And that's where the duality of my opinion lies. She needs to seriously pull her shit together if she's gonna ferry on but WE ALL KNOW that that will be predicated upon by the amount of work her producers both get out of her and put into her (in the studio not on the flyers, KWIS?).
And yes, the usual recidivist pleasantries still apply: I don't have to like it. I'm just saying that "for their sake" I (ostensibly, "WE") better or it could be a really big bruise on a lot of people's faces from the suckerpunch that is, Blahzay Roze.
[EDIT]
I went on a whole DJ thing but deleted it. But in a nutshell, if I couldn't do my job to the best of my ability or the expectations of others, I don't get booked again. But whatever...
