yeah.
Life is hard for everyone, for ALL of us.
yeah.
Also, body language and such are nothing when it comes down to real life. I was also a Psych Major. The study is helpful, but reality is much, much different.
[dramatic pause]
yeah.

Good to hear her talking about moving on and taking pride in finishing/accomplishing things. I’ve found that not every Juggalo is into the Family thing, but she’ll probably have to learn that in her own time. Reaching out through art (or however) to let people know they’re not alone in their pain seems like a valuable use of time; repeatedly defining yourself by pain, on the other hand, seems like a one-way ticket to the abyss. Here’s raw, uncut footage of how Blahzay can make people’s heads explode with her next release:

I thought it was a pretty good interview. However, I kinda do agree with the over editing. It seemed at times like she was going to shed more light on a certain subject and an offbeat edit came in. But other than that, it was really good to see an actual interview with her.
Props to Scottie for bringing this to all of us! @scottied just curious here, did they let you hear anything new since you were in the Lotus Pod?? Just a yes or no question. I’d kill someone to cruise around Pro Tools at the Pod for a day.

I think some of you guys are the exact type of people she commented about on social media that overly criticize every single thing about someone. At this point, no, I’m not a fan of hers and did not enjoy her EP. I am still rooting for her as I think she has some talent there and may put out something more enjoyable as she grows as an artist and person.
I did not find her to be insincere at all like some of you have said. To me, seeing this interview explains a lot about her music. Suggesting that she’s looking down to read responses? Come on. You never met an introverted person that has a hard time making eye contact, let alone someone with her back story? She also hasn’t really had any interviews with a camera in her face like this as far as I’m aware.
Again, not a fan of her music so far, but I think she made some good points about where she’s coming from and you guys need to lighten the fuck up with his over-judgement and jumping to wild conclusions. By the way, I too was a psycho major (’07 Kent State mothafugga) but since when do we need a fuckin’ psycho major to watch a goddamn interview to learn more about Psychopathic’s newest artists? @scottied – you did an excellent job with the interview and were ready to ask some uncomfortable questions and help her along when maybe she was getting stuck on certain answers. Nice work.

The problem isn’t over-analysis.
The problem is the way Psychopathic chose to “introduce” her…. by just flat out DUMPING her on us! At the Gathering. In front of thousands… There’s no other option BUT to talk about everything as it comes up.
There was no guest spot on a few tracks. There was no photo bombs with her in the background somewhere. There was no interaction with anyone else on Psychopathic that was presented anywhere BEFORE dumping her on all of us. Period.
The APPROACH was “all or nothing” and that seems to be how juggalos are receiving her. All or nothing.
…and honestly… after watching a bit of the interview… her personality seem like shit and not someone I’d want to hang out with in the first place. I don’t think there’s anyone else on Psy or MNE that I feel that way about (even IF I don’t buy their stuff).

The oddest part of the interview was when Scottie asked her to explain how she met J and everything that led up to her being an artists and after her short story about messaging J on Facebook it cuts to Scottie already asking another question… wtf was that?!
with all the being said, lets give credit where credit is do… I loved the questions Scottie asked, I loved the production, easily the best produced interview in terms of quality/sound… but the edit just about ruined the entire thing.

Joe Bruce probably had final cut on the interview, I’m sure he didn’t want Blahzay spilling too much, due to his ongoing divorce proceedings with Sugar Slam.
Scottie D proved once again he is a loyal soldier, and edited that shit out.

Ryan Archibald edited it, not SD. Still… there is certainly a point that having a company that represents the subject doing the editing for an interview is highly suspect. They usually get APPROVAL over the final cut… not the power to edit it themselves. Not top-notch by journalistic standards but FLH is more of an entertainment experience that a legit journalistic one. I’m sure maintaining a positive relationship with the label is ultimately more beneficial for FLH.
Scotties questions were good the video will be potentially criticized and rightfully so because Archibald really dropped the ball in my opinion. I doubt he could have even done much to save it. Hard to edit in charisma.

Definitely some valid points here

Theres multiple cameras. The editing seems smooth and is just jumping between camera shots not chopping up her answers. You guys never stop making shit up.
