It’s that time again!

The 84th annual Is MEC back with the clowns and Psy? Will he be lacing beats for any upcoming ICP projects?

2 Dope and his new solo really can’t survive unless the production value is good..FTFO really would not be a classic without MEC on the boards.

I know Mike did a show with them recently just wondering. Because with the other Mike and Esham hanging around its starting to look like The Wraith era all over again. To some that was cool but, to a lot the production sucked ass kind of like the opinion with The Missing Link. Thoughts?

He said the “Other” Mike, meaning Mike P who started producing for them after AJB.

Nice to know some peoples reading skills are top shelf.

Young Wicked’s production is kind of like him as an artist..hit or miss. Mike Peezy’s style of production is appreciated but really is kind of simple and basic. Also something no one ever concerns themselves with is MEC’s mastering which is hands down the best.

ICP needs more beats from Seven that are like Phantom.

Edit: they don’t NEED them, but I would enjoy it immensely. Why are they always getting the shittiest trap beats from seven and none of the interesting stuff that he has done? Like his production for BLH.

The beats for Phantom were straight fire. Thats the sound I enjoy hearing ICP on. The production that was on Mighty Death Pop is garbage compared to The Missing Link era material.

I know some of the beats on the EP were made by Otis, but I am 83% sure the song Phantom was produced by Seven. Either way the production is on point. I love the chorus of Detroit Carjacking.

For some reason, I don’t like ICP songs that are produced by Seven. It…just doesn’t work. Now Twiztid songs produced by Seven are fucking fantastic, that’s a good combination.

I think Otis is decent at producing ICP, but MEC can’t be beat in my opinion. He’s the original producer of that 90’s wicked clown sound that brings back the sweet sweet nostalgia.

^this^ well, for the most part. There are exceptions in both cases but they’re rare

Seven + Twiztid is some of the only Twiztid that gets repeat play for me. That guy really knows how to showcase their strengths.

I loved shangrila and hells pits beats. And for the record, MEC doesn’t master ICP’s music, he mixes it. I don’t want to hear mec and icp back together unless mec steps it the fuck up. House of wax’s beats were horrible. I don’t understand where this guy even went for real, look at all the old shit he made compared to now, the sound is completely different, it’s boring and dull.

and the closest “clown sound” i heard MEC and ICP have together was “In your face”

I don’t think shaggys Solo Album won’t be any good without Mike e clark cuz I really Enjoy the shaggy Solos on tmml albums, such as: williamsburg psychward, joeys butcher Shop and i fucked a cop. I think young wicked beats are dope and he brings the oldschool back a little bit.

I can fully agree with icp should do More Songs on beats like phantom ep but I like house of wax very much.

I disagree about House Of Wax’s production, It was pretty good in my opinion. But you can’t deny either MEC beats have been a tad dull lately, which is why it was nice to hear a few different producers on TMML albums. Mainly Otis, who did some outstanding work. “Flamethrower”, “I Fucked a Cop”, “Lost at the Carnival”, “No More Jail” etc. The guy has a talent for producing music, no doubt.

House of wax was alright but it needed more sounds to it. Sounds like there was more drums than anything on the beats. I’d like to hear a wicked/mec collab on the next album.

I don’t dig Bones, that guy blows dick, but wicked is dope. He just doesn’t need to be all over EVERYTHING.

His production is dope though.
