straight up after they won that contest damn near every juggalo started tryin to rap.. & there was such a small percent of juggalo rappers (or juggalos who rap) back before then.. i was just reminiscing about how pretty much everyone knew the few ninjas who were doing it.. now theres 20 to 50 lo rappers in every fuckin city..
so yeah at the very least even if you dont like AMB you cant hate cuz you prolly wouldnt be doin shit if it wasnt for them...

The internet is responsible for the explosion of not only the growth of the "family" movement but wicked shit and underground rappers in general. Not AMB.... anybody with fruit loops or pro toolz can be a rapper. Its the accessibility

yeah i feel you yo.. i honestly didnt know about the contest til it was over.. it just seemed like the numbers continuously multiplied at rapid speeds after amb won/dropped their album
i love how people always bring up pro tools as if way more niggas aint usin' audacity & cool edit haha i think if youre usin pro tools it at least shows some seriousness in what youre doin… you cant run that shit for free… gotta at least get an mbox…

I think there were a ton of rappers before AMB and before the contest started. Its just the generation we're in now with the accessibility to get Audacity and Fruity Loops and all those programs. AMB is garbage. Audacity is not the best program, but it gets some things done.

Still wish AMB was around, just sayin. God's Hands was a release right up there with the likes of Medicine Bag in terms of quality, IMO. There live show got much better as well.

I don't know, they sound completely arrogant and full of shit, as people. Music wise, I just don't dig it. I don't dig the majority of the juggalo rappers out there anyway, a lot of them steal the gimmick and mockery and the music is just garbage.

A lot of people are better than Blaze, ABK and Shaggy when it comes to rapping. Shaggy just doesn't sound too interested or some of the shit he drops nowadays. Otis just sounds like a kid talking a lotta shit. I wouldn't consider them being original with Axe Murder in their group name, c'mon now. Too common in the juggalo rap world.

rapping is not all about being a good rapper. its also about attitude, entertainment factor, style, and delivery. also the sound of ur voice. blaze and shaggs wouldnt be shit if they didnt have those super unique voices. otis' voice is extremely average. his lil bro gots a more unique sound though. there are tons of awesome emcees out there but they sound like mister rogers or whatever.

shaggy is awesome nowadys he fell off from 04-08 pretty much. after his coupla rehab stints he records much better. mono usta rip shit too. his verse on rock the dead is my all time fav.

Only person I'd disagree about is ABK. With Twiztid gone, he is currently the best lyricist on PSY.
