Okay, since no one seems to be giving reports on it, here goes. 

My girlfriend and I have played it maybe six or seven times now. Don’t remember. 

It took like two playthroughs to get a solid grasp on the game and actually get into it (for comparison it took maybe four or five times with Quest before I didn’t have to check the book).

A couple normal games and a couple “advanced” plays. 

It really is a solid fucking game. I can see how getting the same cards over and over again would get stale eventually but switching between the advanced play and normal play (difference being advanced has “fiends” which are, more or less, cards that intentionally fuck up the other players and a couple other “item” cards) is more than enough to keep it fresh for now. They’re already planning an expansion for it so the monotony is clearly something that they’re aware of and trying to get ontop of. 

Also, for what it’s worth, don’t let the rules of it throw you off. It seemed super complex to me at first. Maybe it’s just because I had never really gotten into deckbuilding games before, maybe I’m just stupid. Dunno. Like, I said though, after like two games in, I didn’t need to book anymore and had it down. It’s the same as Quest for Shangri-La really. Once you’re in the game and actually playing it instead of looking at it, the rules come naturally. 

TLDR: It seems overwhelming at first but it’s easy to pick up and almost by design has replay value.

Use photobucket, or something similar, snag the image urls from there and insert them into your post. Being able to upload images directly would be convenient, but as is, it’s not too hard. 

Also I’m pretty interested in seeing this.

Played the game with my wife for a couple hours tonight. Had quite a bit of fun. I ended up winning. For only the second time playing I believe we’re getting the hang of it. It obviously tired her out, she’s passed out and I’m sitting here drinking watching adult swim on Hulu

Damn. There ain’t no way to beat that. Forfeit and see if you can beat him at old maid. If not get him drunk and dress him as the old maid. Win win my friend

Ah I see, he’s into that Ancient Greek wrestling. That or he’s a kinky mofo. Either way you got yourself a keeper. If you can’t beat em join em. And if he makes you beat him just use lube. Nobody needs chaffing, especially the almighty randy. He might be the next jokers card

Yeah my wife suggested the advanced cards (fiend, I believe) luckily since I was drinking advance play was not implemented. Also, random shit, I met you at the village. What up homie?!
