I have a different beef with Juggalos Against Humanity because @verytwiztidraven invented it years ago apparently.  Her Hatchets to Hatchets is identical at least in principle to it.

okay…

this, actually bugs the shit outta me.

mostly what bugs me is, i know already that there is about zero chance that she will ever get any recognition.

jules worked on that shit, it wasnt just some cut n paste haircut crap.  she clearly put mad effort into it.  that was just undone, so psy can make some more bucks.  fine, but who the fuck is gonna believe she had that shit up and runnin years ago, unless jump or somebody else at psy throws her a little shine?

i dunno.  i just cant shake the feeling that they got the idea for the game from whoever, and whoever was straight up basin it on ravens shit.  not the other game.

and yes, the game concept already existed.  so fuckin what?

if they start sellin knockoffs of frogs wheel on hatchetgear, are we sposed to just give em a pass because the wheel was invented a long time ago?

  awfully paranoid, arent you?

Yeah, I’m not even exactly sure how to go about bringing up the fact that I made that game three years ago, have brought it to four Gatherings, and have had dozens of ninjas play it. It’s definitely possible that someone along the line tipped someone at Psy off about it and they thought it was a good idea.

I have pictures of my friends playing it at the 2013 GOTJ to prove that it is that old (right here on FLH – https://www.faygoluvers.net/v5/…..g-mailbox/ with the direct image at https://www.faygoluvers.net/v5/…..15-800.jpg) and even described it in my review…

“I said that I had just the perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon at the Gathering, and brought out the Hatchets to Hatchets game. It’s basically like Apples to Apples or Cards Against Humanity, only Juggalo themed!”

I mean, someone could have even picked up the idea from there.

Who knows the best way to approach them about it?

‘damned psychopathic forum lurkers!  ill get you for this!’

you psychopathic forum lurkers are invited to chime right the fuck in, here.  it would be a nice touch.

[edit]

oh, far as how to approach…

im probably not the best guy to help with that.  the tactics ive come up with are all kinda jerkish.  bein a jerk, n all.

[edit edit]  attention getter.  for the lackadaisical.

Man I say we boycott that shit right here on FLH. That’ll be our best platform. Main page style and shit. Nothing negative, ya know what I’m sayin? Just something so @verytwiztidraven gets recognition.

I say we start burning shit.  That usually gets you whatever you want when you do it in my experience.

The short story of Juggalos against humanity goes like this..  Around January this year, Jumpsteady brought the beta testing version of into the echo side game over with his pal Louis.  We play tested it and my wife and I thought it was cool but pretty complex.     Afterwards, I busted out Cards against Humanity and said we should really consider doing a version of this for the juggalos. Now,  I’ve been playing Cards against Humanity since it was first released in 2011 as a party game with friends, as well as apples to apples before that.  He thought the idea was really cool and he understood the mass appeal it would have to the Juggalos.

Personally, this is the first time I’ve heard of this hatchets to hatchets  game.  That being said, I think that is really cool that Jules took the time and effort to make this game on her own.  In my opinion, I think you should get your game into the hands of Jumpsteady or anyone at the Psychopathic office and let them see your work.    We can talk more via PM and I can point you in the direction if thats the route you’d like to take.  Can’t promise anything, but it’s probably a better direction to take rather then the complaining route.  :)

Thats really fresh of ya to do man thanks for trying to help get her a smigit of credit.  Im definitely placated if Jump at least gets to see Jules’s game to compare it to see how similar it is.  Thanks again homie!

right.

ima send you a message, tag raven into it, and maybe get a thing to happen.  not a big thing, surely, but a little thing would be dope enough.  hell, any thing is dope, as its better than no thing.

oh, i wasnt complaining.  i did my complaining at the gathering; this was meant as a way to spark shit up, and hopefully result in some activism.

okay, i was complaining.  but the point was, it wasnt just griping, i was hopin to see…  well, basicly what you wrote.

like i said, im prone to jerk tactics.  i cant apologize for that, but i will say that it aint my point.  my intention is, again, to seek a lil shine for jules hookin us up with
Image Enlarger

long ago, well before this humane juggalos thingy came up.

and for the official record, i do not think you are a biter, or a chiseling thief, of none of that.  just a johnny-come-lately.  thats all.

im not stupid, im aware that psy has the wherewithal to run with the shit and make it a clean and popular product, and raven does not [hell, she cant even afford to print up copies for all us forum peeps, the one deck was expensive enough].   i know that nobody is gonna give her a co-creator credit, or put her name in the notes, or whatever.

but shes my homie, ima fight for her as hard as i fight for any homie.  shit, ill happily fight for a homie over an unjust cause;  this, i gotta do.

thanks for responding, kuma.  woulda been the easy easy to ignore it.

So has anyone actually played Into the Echoside or not? Really want some feedback before purchasing because the shipping is ridiculous.

I didn’t get Into The Echoside game. Nothing, for me anyways, will top Morton’s List. ML is still fresh as hell after all these years, I still play it every once in awhile.

Dunno, I am waiting on the gameplay results from people before I purchase this. My mouse finger is itching to put this damn thing in my cart.

Even though I’ve already read Behind the Paint, I think I’m currently more hyped for the audio book. I’ll probably get that first and then hope Into the Echoside’s still available whenever I decide to buy it.

So far….. No. We literally just set it up and was reading through the directions to try it out and were confused as fuck. Gonna have to watch that “how to play” video on the website before we get any further.
