i find atheists choose atheism as a way to be a complete cunt. obviously not all of them, but most will rail at me because i beleive in god, and the reason they dont believe in god is because they beleive the church is an unneccesary evil (which i agree with wholeheartedly).

Actually taking medicines to relieve pain, especially during child birth, is an extreme blasphemy and is considered to be witchcraft. The pain of child birth is the curse god gave to women because Eve convinced Adam to eat the forbidden fruit with her. The church used to actually kill people for using herbs to relieve pain.
Plus, religious people and theists are just as bad as atheists. For every dick head atheist that gets a kick out ripping into religion there are 20 dick head Christians yelling “god hates fags” or condemning abortions or trying to ban evolutionary theory.
Before anybody tries to go on a tangent about atheists just remember that majority of America admit that they’d vote for a theist over an atheist even if they think that the theist is far less qualified for the job.
The thing goes both ways, it’s human nature to push your beliefs on others.

I also have a rebuttal to a stereotypical atheist argument I’d like to add.
Atheists always ask “If there is a god then how come god doesn’t feed all the starving children? He has the power to do so.”
In return I always say “How come humans don’t feed all the starving children? They have the power to do so.”

Right, but if somehow all the world’s hungry was suddenly contently fed forever more, it would be huge news, and if it could be proven to be a miracle from god, many agnostics or maybe even atheists would change their minds. Plus, he also claims to be completely benevolent and good.

But what good would it do to let humans prosper when they wouldn’t even work for it themselves?
What did humans do to deserve such an action?
Do you think an all knowing being would believe that helping humans is a righteous thing to do or are humans just so egotistical that they think they are entitled to it?
Plus, I don’t think there are stories of angels suffering from hunger in the bible, though they don’t have free will either. Perhaps the terms of humans being given free will is that we have to use that to take care of our selves.
Then again how can anybody have free will if everything happens according to god’s plan?

Well, if we’re talking about the god of the bible, then he’s not really as benevolent or omnipotent as he says, then. I don’t even understand why an omnipotent god would need a sacrifice or savior, let alone his ability to feed everyone. Why did this god (supposedly) perform ANY miracles then, If there is free will. Plus, in Exodus, it states that god hardened pharaoh’s heart and so he wouldn’t let the isrealites leave. Why would he do that? He did it to the point of killing all of the first sons of Egypt, just to fuck with pharaoh?
