Alex Torres: In my opinion I believe y'all ninjas tore the roof out of it!!! I love it every song the beats and lyrics from the bottom of my heart this album is great fo real fo real.

Casper Hansen: I fucking like it. It's a good start for Big Hoodoo. Hope to see more like it.

Damian Juggla Haverty: I love the album the fuckin album is dope! The album really spoke to me and also gave me the chills at the same time. Every song was perfection. You are a great addition to Psychopathic homie!

Josh Swartzlander: Excellent Album!! I'm listening to it more right now at work. Bumped it all day yesterday. Much Love! Thank you.

Fred Spiezio: I think it's a great cd! I also think he will go over well with the fam and stay on psy for a long time.

Matt Watkins: Overall is this is a pretty strong debut album. It will never win over fans of mainstream rap/r'n'b but I don’t think that was ever the intention. If people would be willing to give it a chance I see no reason why Big Hoodoo couldn’t become a staple act of the label and the genre.

The Kripple King: Now this motherfucker bout that wicked Detroit shit! Bumpin that Crystal Skull all day!

Joseph Messina: Just finished listenin to BigHoodoo crystal skull. Let me tell you it was fukin amazing! Can’t wait to hear more from you!! WHOOP WHOOP!!

Kyle Schonher: Big Hoodoo your new entry album to psychopathic is so fucking dope love Hex and Mountain Climbing. Hope you do more soon! mmfwcl

Isaac Baranoff: The standout production of Crystal Skull occurs in Brian Kuma’s work on “Hexed” and “Blitzed”, the Mike E. Clark-assisted “Never Had”, and the Cold 187um-produced title track, while the best lyrical content on the album is the introspective, personal approach to “Never Had”. The combination of Big Hoodoo’s concept, music and lyrical approach make this one of the most exciting debuts from Detroit rap’s equivalent of Arkham Asylum since Boondox dropped The Harvest in 2006, and Hoodoo should take his place among Juggalo favorites like ABK and Blaze Ya Dead Homie in the years to come.

Wyat Brown: Damn! 2 tracks in and I am HOOKED on the BigHoodoo "Crystal Skull" record. All hip hop fans need to check out the newest psychopathic ninja.

Kid Vicious: Mad props to BigHoodoo! Crystal Skull is fucking awesome. Keep it up homie. I'm looking forward to more good shit from you in the future.

Cian: Just listened to one of the best psychopathic albums of all time, Crystal Skull by Big Hoodoo. I fucking loved it!

Casey Ballard: I recommend listening to Big Hoodoo. His shit is jumping. And Never Had is on some real shit. MCL ninja

InterThaDark: Mad Propz and Appreciation on Crystal Skull. You came all the way correct and schooled it with your own form of the Wicked Shit.

SiccStranger420: Crystal Skull exceeded my expectations. The World Is Very Different is quite possibly my favorite track on the whole album.

bcred81: Quite honestly fresh from beginning to end. Rare to find something so fresh from track 1-15 but damn. Hoodoo’s record is flawless.

Yeah man I just can't believe anyone liked it that much

QUICK REVIEW

intro - Cool, gets the voodoo hoodoo or whatever the fuck it's called Vibe goin'... funky stuff (does anyone else hear the beginning of Blaze's dead body man here???)

hexed - man i'm digging this song/video ... compare this to the other 99% of hip hop shit out and it's really Far out there... you gotta love the Dark/Wicked/Dead shit.

the raven - dope song!, the chorus could have been better, they should of got on a more serial killer tip talkin' about having wigs reminded me of those jeepers creepers movies lol

give it life - damn one of the Sickest songs on this album... props to Doe Dubbla & J for the writing. def-dope-phat-wicked-shit, reminds me of a Lotus song for shuzzle my nuzzles

mountain climbing - dude Psychopathic can always provide some sort of anthem on an album and this seems like it might be 1,

The beat is bangin' and J's verse is gangsta (almost seems like a subliminal Esham diss?...maybe)

blitzed - the intro is funny... a fresh Stoner / get fucked up! track - the beat is hella funky - mad propz to the producer, I get blitzed almost everyday so I can relate, the beat reminds me of some old school underground 90's bay area shit for some reason...

never had - I'm really feelin' this song, the darkness of the beat is really what makes me Groove to it. I definitely can relate. I would love to sing along to this song Live, so I hope I see Big Hoodoo tour soon, ( a big hoodoo / twiztid tour would kill!!!!!)

darkside - absolute best song on the whole album, dope beat! dope lyrics.... pure uncut DOPE. I think this will be the real juggalo anthem on this album.

crystal skull - hell yeah Cooooooold 187um provides the psycho-G-funk and Dubbla raps to the beat like an Old late 80's gangsta rap song... I've been drinkin to this, and it's definitely catchy. I heard it's Tequila that comes in the crystal skull and I heard it's hella booty... (never tried it myself though) but I heard it's way more expensive than it should be...

spells - I love this song, it has that psychopathic Detroit Funk sound (if you know what I mean you can dig it), it's catchy, and has a dark touch of wicked shit but it's Fun... if you have ever dabbled in Black Magic you know what they're talking about...

happily ever after - they could have done something sicker with this beat, cause it's dope. it feels like it's more of a Chorus sing-along sort of thing, not a lot of lyrical Rap here but the beat is some funky voodoo shit that you can try to resurrect your dead girlfriend with.

my homie - This song is weird, i'm still judging it...

the jinx - I'm digging that Funky beat. the chorus is actually really Fresh! okay, listening to it again, I have to say this is one of my favorite songs on the whole album, I'm really love Doe's lyrics.

Detroit murderous - what can I say? Psychopathic Records certified. if you a juggalo you are probably gonna be bumpin this... Don't get me wrong the old shit is better but at least Psychopathic is still around & giving us New Fresh wicked shit and this is that underground flavor that I know and love. Doe Dubbla comes off straight Gangster, I can respect that.

the world is very different - OK after darkside, this is the deepest song on the whole album, I had to bump this on repeat a few times cause it's that shit, that shit that you can really feel and relate to... Doe Dubbla has earned my respect... the beat is some real heavy hip hop raw style shit, and Big Hoodoo's lyrics are cool, I've always been into black magic, voodoo, and the darker side of hip hop, so I think J and dubbla made a damn good album here, i'm glad he decided to ride with the wicked clowns, hopefully in the future we will see a Big Hoodoo / twiztid & blaze tour...

MCL! my 2 cents!

imo this is a solid debut album, blaze and abk took months to really grow on me and i was diggin this shit when i first hit play, i don't get why there has been so much hate directed toward this album (especially the fucks dissin before they ever heard it) i personally like j on it as well imo he complements dubbla pretty well i really don't think it hurts it at all. i know there's been some praise for it's alive and it's a good song and all but i was waiting for shaggy to say "what up y'all" at the end lol i mean it's pretty much just a rewritten mad professor, but i think this is at least an 8/10 album, nice veriaty in beats and feeling in the listening experiace.  on an unrelated note, when purple gang came out there was for some reason a lot of hate and bitchin about sugar slam bein on it but i haven't seen much about her bein on a few tracks on this cd, has there been a change of heart toward her? is it that she honestly isn't that bad (i dig her part in legz's mary jane), or something else? just curious really

9 pistolas was ok i mainly listened to it cause jumpsteady was on it but after listening to it, it's ok imo, i think she's got a pretty good voice too (among other things lol j you a lucky bastard), i like her in the background on crystal skull i think she adds a lil depth and some softness to the feel of the songs, but more importantly when the fuck jumpsteady gonna make another cd?!?!?!?! lol Dungeon Master is my shit, makes me feel better about my teenage years lol, on the real tho i loved chaos theory and flying guillotine now that he's back they need to make that shit happen

i honestly am feelin this guy .  the beats for the most part were well done and fit with a wicked sound and his delivery is dope im down with hoodoo for sure. i think tje clowns blew a good opportunity to make a seriously wicked track with spells it came off as a happier song when the majority of the album has a darker tone  oh and anyone else think its funny the boy blues thought of big hoodo was published in the hatchet herald after icp calling him a hoe? idk i thought it was funny

lol its true i got into icp because they were wicked and had the sinister beats behind them now most of theyre songs sound like nicktoons background music   but that song just didnt fit in with the rest of the album at all hopefully more tracks will come out soon with hoodoo and the clowns and they keep it more wicked  and your totally right they need to listen to the fans more because it seems im not the only lo whos not so pleased with they goofy happy sounds of todays icp tracks

anyone else think they might do a different super group other than lotus now that twiztid left?? I was thinking icp, hoodoo, abk, blaze(if he sticks around), boondox(if he returns). call it the monster squad. I don't know, I heard dubbla mention it on the album thought it was a cool name. cant do a new lotus without twiztid so they gotta do something.

my opinion of the album is that it is ok. the music is great for the most part and doe shines on most tracks(especially the non voodoo themes, mountain climbing and Detroit murderous). a few tracks sound too much like violent j, happily ever after. also spells was totally screwed by j and shags. doe rips his verse
