I started out just a casual fan. The late 90s early 00s iCP was fuckin cool to any angry kid. The imagery, lyrics etc. at that time offensive “shock rock” hit an all time high. With numetal, bands like marilyn manson, korn, slipknot, etc. ICP got lumped within that group even though they weren’t a “band,” that was their niche for the times. I feel they lost some of that and tried to distance themselves from the rock crowd nowadays. But back then to a young teenager it was just music to me and friends. If it looked cool and had that “parental advisory” sticker, then everyone gobbled it up. I just think the whole “family” thing turned into a very strange white trash cult vibe. Honestly with twiztid gone now, and soon blaze, and leaving just icp, maybe some of the new age juggalos will fade away and a new era will begin.
