I was drunk as fuck two nights back and decided to play just the two tracks I found on YouTube.

Disses everywhere. If I recall, Gordy got in on it, as well.

Scoofy said it perfectly. This shit is not worth our money, unless you live and breath for thinly-veiled subliminal disses from 40-50 year old Midwest mongoloids.

DJScroob said it well, too. If you put your diss verses on one focused track, instead of dropping the hate in annoying little mosquito snips that fuck up our highs, then maybe it would be worth more.

It seems to me like those of us that paid money to these people are okay with listening to rappers who have run out of ideas.

In comparison, when 2 Dope did his disses on FTFOMF, it rings more true. Violent J shit talks all the time; it has become part of his style. To me, when Shaggy finally opens up about the piddling drama, then you know he is pissed. He saves his rage for when it really gets to be too silly not to comment on.

See: “Make it Happen” off of FTFO, which I still believe is about Esham during their drama. Shaggy sounds on the verge of bashing some skull.

Meh,

album is kinda boring… And as everyone says it nothing but diss track after diss track man. Even if it aint aimed at ICP it’s just boring now.

Every track has the same subject matter… I’m sick of hearing about how many ‘haters’ they all have… Haters this, haters that! Ok we get it now!

And as the dude above said, even Gordy got in with the syblimal disses.

Only my opinion, but was just plain boring to me!

the only Gordy line I caught that MAYBE could have been directed at Psychopathic was that line about “if they say Jamie’s name again…” otherwise he was mainly just rapping about weird shit like usual

but yeah it’s either haters or devils trying to take them down…to be fair Shaggy 2 Dope had quite a few devils tryna bring him down on FTFOMF so in general I’d say both parties need to move on from that…without saying names or being more specific in general you sorta just have to take them as filler bars

Shaggy did the same thing on FTFOMF tbh…not as much so you could still focus on the actual project but there’s quite a few lines where he’s randomly going off on devils and enemies trying to bring them down lol also anyone who believes J only contributed to 2 songs on FTFOMF is playing themselves…pretty easy to tell when J takes over the writing…I love Shaggy but wish we could have heard more from HIM on FTFOMF

Boring?? You’re crazy!

That album is solid!  It’s MNE’s 2nd top project this year. The Continuous Evilution Of Life’s ?’s was 1st, obviously.

You probably think shaggy’s album was the best release this year. That is far from the truth, it was a total failure. The beats were horrible, and why wouldn’t they be. They were rushed and forced and that produced an album that sounded inorganic and sloppy. I bet Young Wicked’s beats would of helped that album compete with what MNE released this year.

🎶now let’s run and have some fun before i melt away🎶⛄

lol, true.

its funny, Jamie was my favorite rapper either at one point. but somehow that slot became vacant. Still love his voice, but the latest Twztid music simply didnt appeal to me that much.. In general I miss great stories being told in songs! Thats what originally dragged me in and thats where ICP still are the best, at least to me (just listen to The Carousel, GREAT story telling! (unfortunately it doesnt sound that good, they should remix that shit)). When I hear, those songs on YOTS are mainly disses and filler phrases, I instantly lose interest. I will check it out though.

I feel this way a lot, too. Used to be excited just to hear Jamie kick off a verse. Now I don’t relate to the substance. Maybe because I grew up, despite being younger than the cat. Funny how I can enjoy whimsical tales of cartoon murder more than a bunch of aging, confused fools that don’t really know where to go with their lives besides wanting some more cash.

For me the album was boring.

None of the beats grabbed my attention enough to even pay attention to the lyrics. The skits didnt do a good enuff job to wrap the album together either.

Guess i preferred VJ’s version of twiztid over twiztids version of twiztid.

I would rather have them say names, then doing all these subtle disses…but i guess they chose to do #VeganRap instead of making some real beef songs.

Those confused fools have proven they have a loyal enough fan base that they can sell 50$ usbs and stuffed boondoxs lol. So it may.be the fans fault lol. They are money hungry twizzler lol. Now they know they don’t have to make good shit to sell. Y be original?

I really like that. Props.

Didn’t they state somewhere that they still would have been as successful if they were always ISI? Without any help from J? Well, if the theory of the Metaverse is legit, then somewhere, in a distant corner of time and space, there is an ISI station on the radio, playing nothing but ISI. And on weekends, old school HOK hits.

But I doubt it.

Thinking deeper, there’s another OMD talking shit about Psychopathic and he’s a fucking Young Wicked mark to the bone.

But I doubt it.

Agreed with y’all mostly. Content wise, year of the sword is boring.

The songs that pop the most are the weed song and meme song (netflix and chill). Sadly those aren’t very original ideas either but they were a nice break from the hater this and that tracks. It’s not that the album is bad, but it’s kind of stale. Idk. It bumps and I like the diversity in performers, but content wise it is empty.

I only fell in love with Psychopathic artists to begin with because I like violent lyrics, creative song ideas, and gimmicks. This sounds like run of the mill hip hop music, and frankly if I want that I tend to look elsewhere.
