Thank you for the share of this, as well as, wanting to have a mature discussion on the aspect of us, God, faith etc.  Like you, I have just recently rediscovered my faith once again, even all the years after I had tried to run so far away from it all.  Very interesting how one small thing you read, hear, or even discover, could open the floodgates once again in regards to a person rediscovering their faith that had been lost or pushed aside.  To me, faith is both a personal thing and a public thing.  Why?  Well, I am of the mind that if I truly do want to live my faith out loud, then why not go into the world and just start up conversations with people and take time to listen to their needs and who knows, by doing that, they just also may rediscover their faith too  Not only that, but as well as my faith being considered a cult by some out there, I usually do not specify which particular church I go to or what particular brand/flavor of Christianity I ascribe too
