been having a pretty rough time lately; weathers sucked out on the west coast. fiance got laid off last month so we’re a single income household again until she can find something else. spent all week this week working my bay alone at work so pulling essentially triple duty.
So, I after work I got home, packed a bunch of my shit up and drove up to the mountains to the public gun range. got there early enough I had the whole place to myself; just me, my guns, targets and a big beautiful mountain.
got to let off a little steam, sighted in a new scope for my .308 AR-10, got to break in the new .22 rifle I bought, man that thing shoots like a fucking dream. buttery smooth trigger, absolutely 0 recoil, laser accurate. just an absolute beauty to shoot.

nobody cares what that TERF is doing.
but here’s what I was just doing shoveling fucking snow we got more snow yesterday than the whole winter combined and some fucking tree fell and knocked over the power lines so I did not have power from 10 AM to 10 PM and that pissed me off because I wanted to watch Invincible because that is the greatest TV show ever.

I miss winter I could definitely live in Canada or Alaska where it’s winter all the time. You can always just add layers to make yourself warmer… when it’s fucking hot it’s just fucking hot unless you are inside the ac.

When there is time off available and the weather is nice, I’ve been fishing and hiking. Got 3 pristine brook trout the other day.
People keep dying, left and right. So I’m soaking up everything good and exciting that I’m able to.

Fiance found out she was pregnant. Then about a week later lost our child.
It’s been hard. I’ve been doing my best to avoid stressors and stay focused on doing what I can for her. Right now I feel kind of trapped at work, out of sick time and PTO, can’t afford to take time off I would like to spend with her right now, but doing everything I can for her.

Prepping for a week off next week.
Ieave work Sunday the 9th at 6:30 and won’t be back in until Sunday the 16th at 18:00.
Planning on going to a drag show, beach, shooting trip, dinner at a local place my fiance and I really like. It’ll be a good week.

Yep went over a bank I landed on my feet but in a bad stance and twisted my leg real hard and that’s what did it. I fell afterwards. I should be healed up in time for The Gathering though lol.
