On break, doing OT today at work. Then tomorrow I'm going to be taking my fiance up to Astoria to visit the goonies house and spend some time on the beach.

Yes, very common in the USA. Especially southwest areas.

When we started at the Colorado dispensary in 2014, the gas station that was attached to it used to supply Santiago's burritos. I used to walk home many days with a few free leftover breakfast burritos 🌯 that weren't sold. They were super unhealthy (made with lard) but goddamned delicious. Sometimes had hash browns, onions and peppers in them.... unfortunately we minimized the gas station to make room for a separate Medical dispensary, so they were too small to legally provide warm food products without a kitchen. Just sold sodas and snacks, mostly from that point on. However, there was a wonderful Faygo selection. Caramel Apple and Cotton Candy were always there in stock. Ask BayAreaShaman, Pigg and that one guy I can't remember his name... they copped a few.

Was paradise to some, looking back... I was a 3 minute walk from both a Recreational and Medical weed dispensary where I got free and discounted product.. a gas station connected to it with tons of treats and Faygo... a liquor store across the street... sunshine... can it be that it was all so simple then?

I remember waiting for this when it dropped I was waiting in line to buy it and it does not disappoint.

We did. Had a nice 7 year run, but it was time to return to the northeastern U.S. Colorado is nice, though. We've lived in a few different spots and Colorado was definitely good in many ways. Far better than North Carolina.

From my experience, southeastern people are largely two-faced, and seem to wish you ill. Pure hatred at outsiders and each other. Phony nice.

Midwestern people are very nice, overall. Kind of plain, but harmless in ways. Definitely a bit of passive-aggressiveness. Lacking some character.

Northeastern people are more blunt about things, which I prefer. Less pretense. However, some are very selfish and sneaky. They definitely need more sunshine. 

I've only had brief experiences in the northwest, but there was some sense of cynical pretension, for sure. Don't know enough more about them to form a valid opinion.

Southwesterners are also a mystery, mostly, to me. Had a northeastern friend tell me that they didn't do a lot of sarcasm, from his experience.
