The problem people have with you is you can't JUST say "I don't want to get vaccinated". You have to spread lies and conspiracy theories. I do. He may be a mentally ill, ranting, toxic idiot, but:

1. He's still human.
2. He can spread the virus.

I'm not "afraid" of the virus at all; I just want these restrictions to end and I don't want innocent people hurt.

The restrictions will continue until things are under control, but they're never going to be under control as long as antivaxxers keep spreading the virus.

Epidemiologists keep saying over and over, it's the antivaxxers that are mostly responsible for the mass spreading. At this point it's clear that antivaxxers suffer from either Paranoid Personality Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (habitual contrarianism), Borderline Personality Disorder or Histrionic Personality Disorder. Even your average Schizophrenic wouldn't be this pathological at this point. It's a personality issue with people's brains that can't comprehend real versus imagined risks.

Not real: Conspiracy theories
Real: Pandemics, Medical Science

Trustworthy: Immunologists, CDC, WHO, Virologists, Epidemiologists, Doctors, etc.
Not Trustworthy: Politicians, Conspiracy Sites, Facebook Memes, Extremists, etc.

But you can't fix people with personality disorders; this is a known thing in mental health.
The cause of most personality disorders is usually some minor, exaggerated trauma that effects the feeling of safety and ego so greatly that people develop counter-productive childlike defense mechanisms.

In this case with "Smack" it's psychological projection, name-calling, conspiracy theories, make believe scenarios, insults, paranoia, and political fanaticism. Anything to distract from their own vulnerability. You can see in their fixations and the particular types of word selection they use; it clues you into what they think people should care about.

If you were to take those things away from them and force them to sit down and force them to face the facts, they'd break down sobbing and throwing anger fits. I've seen it before at work. We wouldn't let people leave without accepting facts as part of their therapy. It would be hard to watch and I'd feel guilty about it if the patients weren't willing to be complete psychopaths to avoid admitting their own vulnerabilities.

And that's what it all comes down to. Antivaxxers are willing to harm others simply because they're afraid of things they don't understand. They lash out when confronted. He'll keep doing it because he's not processing facts and logic, he's just scared and running on pathological instincts. Fight everyone, throw out insults, post excuses.

He's stuck and there isn't any medicine that can help him.

1. Vaccinated are less likely to catch and spread the virus. Yes, they can catch it and spread it, but it's less likely.

2. How does taking a vaccine make someone a coward? It's just a shot. If anything you've proven you're just a big baby afraid of needles. There is no justification in being afraid of vaccinations. You're the one crying, ranting and raving about how terrified you are of the vaccine.

3. If you're concerned about restrictions then take the vaccine.  Why have all these panic attacks you're having where you flip out and throw tantrums and insult people?
