i assumed that plane tickets would end up being most economical… didnt really think about trains…
thirty eight hours, though. i can hack that, im sure, but i know several people who literally cannot hack a ten hour bus ride. the train would probably cripple those folks.
last i looked, i think plane tix were around five to six. which seems high to me, i wouldve thought cheaper tickets would be out there.

I could do it.in december I drove with my friend from sandiego to new york in a sprinter van.shit was crazy as fuck.drove straight from phoenix to chicago took 30 hrs so its is possible. I didnt kill my homie..lol

I just checked and when I looked at trains I only saw the way there not the return so it would actually be like 400 round trip so plane would probably be best.idk the closest airport to Osage beach though.

A teacher from my high school recently lost everything in a house fire, and the alumni association used Crowdtilt to collect money for him. It’s kind of like making a pledge, but you don’t actually have to pay the money unless a minimum amount of pledges are made. Like in this case, you could set up a Crowdtilt event for, say, $1000. Anyone who wants to donate would tell the website how much they are willing to put toward it. At the point when you have pledges equaling $1000 or more, everyone’s cards are charged, and he gets the money. If you didn’t reach $1000, no one would be charged (on the premise that if you don’t make enough money to get him there, he doesn’t get any money since he isn’t going). It worked well.
