Aren't there some pretty fucked up and cruel stories in the bible... I be never read it personally but have been told

Yeah, but it tell aninteresting story, which is what it really is a story.

Yeha i have always thought about it like that, it makes more sense.

and the whole devil business is jsut silly. the bible maintains that lucifer (fallen angel) is essentially the opposite of god and therefore equal in power.

which makes no sense as youd think an omnipitent being would have more power then one of his creations who turned 'bad'

But like I said, if god created the big bang, who created god? Noone? He just appeared..? Doesn't seem plausible to me..then again you can say the same about the science aspect of it.. To be honest maybe im not 100% athiest, but I am pretty sure there's not some being judging is and our thoughts.. If there is a god, I find it very hard to believe that he gives half a shit what we do in our lives.. And if he did.. Would such a judgemental "person" really be so forgiving that you can do all these horrendous acts and as long as you "confess" and shit, all's good?

It's never religion but it's people.

Yes, I'm a believer that the person shoots the gun. Not the gun shooting people.

He is the fallen angel because god sent him to earth. I mean cast him out of the heavens and sent him here. It makes it sound like god doesn't want to intervene and it's up to us to make our own decisions.

If you believe in theories there's a multiverse. 3 billion worlds one minor difference in all of them. 70 trillion worlds all with a major different design. A god created our universe or we created Gods. The big bang was created by a god who did something... My brain hurts.

Oh for sure. That's why the alien theory is plausible.

I've never really understood where that theory comes from, what makes people think that? Im not necessarily discrediting it , but most articles I see on multiverse fly right over my not-so-educated head lol

I always thought it was DC Comics or Marvel who created the multiverse theory.

The term was coined in 1895 by the American philosopher and psychologist William James.

It's not hard to understand. It's you went left instead of going right. You asked the hot girl out as opposed to not asking her out. Dinosaurs never went extinct. Violent J never met Shaggy. Hitler won. Seth McFarlane isn't a male.

Im not asking who thought of the shit though im asking why or what made them even think that, from what i know of it, it seems even more like fictious bullshit ( man , i dont even like fish!) than religion

I mean yeah there's different outcomes to life depending on the path you take bit really, there's a universe for every decision EVERYONE has ever made..?

It doesn't fall under an archetype. To think outside of earth's archetypes is exactly how you could come up with something like this.
