I think its a load of shit lol. I always have, I used to believe in karma, but immortal technique it that in perspective for me, "if it doesnt affect those who benefit from misery, then how can it ever do shit to me." if religion actually does help you, then that's cool I guess, you've got god; I've got a 12-pack and a sac of herb to help me. I think religion is equivalent to Santa Claus and the tooth fairy for adults.. I was already an atheist but after reading Richard Dawkins book 'the god delusion" im about 99.9% sure its all just a coping tool for the weak.. No offense to those who are religious, do what you do, and ill do the same.

That may be so, but his book made some very valid points (I think anyways) ,unlike anyone religious I've ever known... And as far as athiest being flawed, im sure you're right to an extent but id like to quote something out of that book, " Everyone is an athiest to 99% of gods, some of us just go one god further.." not sure if that's the exact quote but you get the point

I always wonder why non religious, atheists…whatever (not including spiritual believers), follow good over evil. Most seem too. Any of those people here, have any idea?
Cause real evil muthafuckas usually go for the cover of being religious, nah mean?

I think the fucked up thing about it (religion or atheism) is there's always the "and where did that come from?" question.. Whether its god or the big bang, whatever the fuck. If there is an almighty god (or big bang? I guess) then where the fuck did that god or particles come from..? And then even if you answer that, well then , where the fuck did THAT shit come from..? Its a fuckin trip lol

I think aethism is a religion for people who have been hurt by religion gather in to hate on god.
i was raised in a church, but turned away from it when teh church asked us for money when we couldnt put food on out table. when my mum said she couldnt afford it the priest basically told her that if she didnt god wouldnt give back to her.
I'm not aethist, i still have god in my heart, but religion is a way to claw money out of people who believe faith and religion cannot be seperate things.
I still go to my local church a few times a year, i like the imagery and i like the stories out of the bible. but i wont give any money to the church, although i donate food/clothes when they do homeless drives n shit.

Religion is essentially a tool for people to commit evil acts and justify it as righteous, because it is 'gods will'
I believe in evolution, but i believe god created the initial 'big bang' event. we are like one big science experiment hahaha.

I wouldn't call it only that. It can definitely be used as you said. Usually by evil muthafuckas who don't even believe in the shit, but front like they do.

The New Testament is about Jesus and it's the peaceful one. The others have some really good horror stories in them. Actually, there are disciples of Jesus who wrote about him but the Romans chose to leave certain stories out of the New Testament. Like when Jesus kills some kid in the street when he was also a kid, for bumping into him.
