A while back, we posted an ad for a benefit show for Trey Griffith who is a Juggalo suffering from a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Don’t worry, he’s still alive and kickin’, and actually has a non-profit organization called Trey’s House to help those suffering from TBIs cope with everyday stresses and hardships. Recently they lost most of their funding, and are mostly only getting any cash through donation jars at events. The reason? Because it’s not staffed with medical doctors or anyone with any medical experience. Some would argue that what Trey’s House does is actually better than that, or at least good for moral support in addition to going through the hardships of being treated for these injuries. I’m rambling though…this article from the SA Current is all about the people who work at Trey’s House, how it came to be, and really shines a spotlight on a Juggalo doing something positive with his life. Much props to you and your fam Trey! You make the fam proud!
