ICP’s Mighty Death Pop marketing strategy

Now this post may be more for those who are going to distribute Insane Clown Posse‘s new album The Mighty Death Pop, but I find it pretty fuckin’ interesting!  If you didn’t know, Psychopathic Records have teamed up with Total Assault recently for their marketing.  So there’s a new 39 page marketing and social media guide that ICP and Total Assault will be utilizing.  They talk about all of the websites and media outlets that they will attempt to get in with to advertise the release of this album.  Holy shit they are going ALL OUT for this one!  Check it:

The Fontana New Releases book has also been released, which is where we got our info on the Mighty Death Pop track list!  One of the more interesting things that they mention in the release book is that there will be ANOTHER music video filmed for the Mighty Death Pop in Los Angeles, CA from July 20-22nd!  They don’t mention what track it will be, but we’ll let you know if they’re requesting Juggalo/lette participation for this one too!  We cut the MDP part out so for you so you can check that out here:

I read this and it seems like a manifesto of how to get ICP into the Mainstream even more then they are, not hating some of that shit looks interesting, but I’d like the treasure hunt to be a real one, you know it’d start at the gathering and end at Big Ballaz know what I’m sayin n the winner(s) could get something really fresh and rare…

Aren’t Fontana the morons that accidentally leaked Necro’s EP on iTunes?

so how do they plan using marketing techniques in the future if there is no CD to market? (i.e. no more physical CDs)
