OK, so I have been thinking about this. Rosco has an amazing thing going with the FLH podcast but I want to do something special for artists that make FLH their home.
So.....
Starting in January I am going to pick an artist every month and review something of theirs whether it be a video, song or album. This will include a short ten questions interview with them also. I will also talk to Scottie about allowing me to put it on the home page.
Being an artist is hard. I see it every show I go to watching local guys evolve and adapt. Some are shitty but some truly develop and I would consider it an honor to help you guys build your name.
Now that I am on disability I can truly put effort into this. Let's make some fucking waves.

Are you saying Miklo is full of shit?
Definitely.

I personally assume you just smoke a bunch of weed, grab a bag of Doritos and read through the forums.Who doesn't?

Nyro, cut the shit. He's got a point. Ever since you've been here I have not seen Bracko Jenkin's, LBT, LuckyNumber13 and Warlock around as much.Bullshit. @nyro is my people, and my absence has nothing to do with him or anything he did. Matter of fact, he's the reason I'm here right now. The "problem" with this forum is...[fill your opinion in here]. There you go.
Oh I know.

Half truths.... As usual I guarantee you got these from Miklo.
First off I am not sure how infamous I was on battle.net and 4chan but I was very well known for xerox copies of my backside.
Secondly I broke the dolphins tail trying to have sex with it. It takes brute force to rape something that can kick a sharks ass.
I didn't.

I mean are you really the only person here who cares about post count, whoops and thread views? Doesn't it seem odd that you are? Doesn't it make you feel a little bit silly? I mean here you sit on a Juggalo website worrying about popularity.... This isn't highschool man and no one here cares about that crap but you.
When I go to a show I plant an FLH sticker somewhere not because I care that a new member might come and take over. I do it because I love this forum and I appreciate what Scottie does for the underground. The wife and I wear our FLH charms proudly because of the love we have seen from FLH members in person and extension by myself on this forum.
You sit here, a dedicated Juggalo ( I will give you that no matter how much I disagree with your shit you are a Juggalo ) and act like this is some competition between your buddies and everyone else. We don't give a fuck about that petty shit man. We are simply glad you guys are here.

Second. Psyral already kinda set something up with the Kotton Kandy lady. But I will for sure be doing something with you right after promise.
Be ready though. These interviews and reviews are going to be direct and blunt. So put your professional panties on and make sure not to let me rattle you because I am going to get down to the nitty gritty on your music and why it is a part of your life.
If we do this we need to do it right so that when people peep your shit they say "Wait a second this person has something special, I need to keep a close eye on them"......If you got some issues I will point them out. I will also point out what I like.
This will be a good place to ready yourself for criticism and praise alike while also getting some real and honest feedback on your stuff so that you can advance as an artist.
To be even more blunt. This WILL NOT be silly/goofy/full of shit Nyro interviewing you. This will be a very serious style interview and review. Get ready.

I don't mean to sound like a dick, but you're not in any kind of position to give that kind of feed back. As in, any advice you give is not from a professional place and comes more from a place of opinion. If I want advice I go to established names that have been a significant part of the industry.

How is it working for you? You are still a nobody while they are established.
First pro tip listen to consumers. They matter unless you have no goals which means you are more of a hobbyist then an artist. Consumers and their opinions are the only ones that matter. ICP can sign whoever they want but if people don't like them it doesn't matter what ICP thinks.
Second pro tip I can literally name 20+ famous music critics and managers that have zero musical talent and so can you so don't front.
It is important to acknowledge whether you are an artist or hobbyist first. If you are a hobbyist I wouldn't waste my time anyways because there is no point when you only care about an ego boost instead of having fans.

I had a long post explaining why I don't take advice from random people anymore, what kind of advice I'm looking for and how my position in music comes from other areas I need to work on that isn't the music and it all got deleted.
Either way, listen to a newer song like Misanthrope or Voices and compare it to an older song like Hip Hop's Devil or The Musick. That is where listening to established people has gotten me. Now all I need is marketing advice, etc. Advice on pretty much everything that isn't making the music.
And the only time I actually consider what random people think is when everybody complains about the vocals being down too low or something like that.
