L’emme just say this first, Juggalettes are some of the baddest bitches out there and don’t need anyone to “save” them. That’s what makes them so kickass and sexy all on their own. Having said that…

What happened to Tila Tequila seems to have become the template for the “penalties” female artists can expect if they are found guilty of be anything “other than” in the eyes of the same people that expect every OTHER female to show their tits upon request forcing other females to feel as though they have to diminish their own feminine sensibilities in place of butching it up for fear of receiving the same treatment.

Yes, I also think most of what I’ve read is just shit talking but there ARE entries where people have said they and their crew PLAN on doing shit (I can go and find them on ICP’s FB page if you need). Ostensibly, it is always MALES that are saying this shit with the females saying they “hope she doesn’t become the next Tila”. This is what I am speaking to.

There is no way for the on-site cops, security or even ICP to put a stop this continued yearly threat. It is the MEN of the Gathering that must collectively decide much like the WOMEN of the Gathering have already made such decisions, to put a stop to it all when they see it. THAT is being a MAN. Before we are Juggalos, we are men and we have a responsibility to both our Lettes AND our Gathering to ensure its continued growth and support from our female compatriots (ya know, the ones with all the boobies ya wanna see so damn bad) to make them feel as though they are in a safe environment to let go wild as they see fit knowing that there are people there that will prevent them from getting gangbanged on a “drug bridge” and putting a stop to it before it starts.

And as far as my comments relating to Tila “asking for it”, the best analogy I can come up with at the moment would be… If you went to the zoo every day and poked the tigers with sticks, threw things at them, laughed in their faces when they cried out or their helplessness to defend themselves and then one day… when the cage door was left open, they stalked you down in the park and killed your ass (JUST YOU) and returned to their pens… you “asked” for it. Tila chose to poke the wild animals and then step into their cage. On the grand karmic scale… she asked for it.

On ICP’s Facebook page, they posted the other day an “artist spotlight” on Nova Rockefella for which a BUNCH of motherfuckers all felt the need to call her the next Tila Tequila and espouse what they were “planning” to do. If you read through those replies, you’ll see that Nova *herself was responding to a few of the more pleasant ones. Meaning, SHE is seeing that shit. SHE is reading about fuckers planning to throw shit at her and as of the time I was reading it, only ONE person called out any of the assholes for saying such things.

Where’s the MEN of the Gathering that are gonna let these BOYS know that they will get their dicks handed to them if they try that shit? Where’s the Juggalos that know what chivalry and honor mean in such numbers as to make anyone think twice about even attempting such a thing? Oh sure, we can tear the shit out of a fuckin’ car to show what we’d do to THIEVES but when it comes to this other shit, we’re all just gonna sit back and watch the Faygo fly? And you KNOW that there’s gonna be people showing up to Nova’s performance JUST to see if they do it when there *should be a sense that they’d be going to see anyone trying to getting their ASS BEAT for it just like what we all now know will happen if someone gets caught stealing.

If being a Juggalo helps teach people how to stand up for themselves, it should also be teaching people how to stand up for and TO others. When people wanna bitch about how “good cops” aren’t arresting the “bad cops” how can we not be doing the same thing within our own ranks when Juggalos are their own police force at The Gathering and being guilty of the same?
