Go back and listen to the Howard Stern audio. I fuckin’ BET his wife made him cancel. And for WHAT? Yer telling me the prospect of playing The Gathering is somehow MORE intimidating than ANY of the heavy metal festivals he plays now?! He let people’s playful ribbing about the booking get the best of him (or his WIFE).

Did anyone bother to point out to him the comedians that HAVE played? Fuckin’ old ass LEGEND Gilbert Gottfried played an AWESOME set back in ’14 with NO problems! Did anyone have ANY stories to tell about juggalos doing ANYTHING to the COMEDIANS that they don’t already have to deal with in a late night club? There are none that *I can find. Sure, Bobcat and others all have stores of shit they’ve SEEN, but from what I can tell, the comedians at gatherings past have been all but untouched … but these fuckers wanna keep talking about Tila (at least ONE person in that Stern audio manages to get out that she shouldn’t have been there in the first place).

If having the “balls” to play The Gathering is such a big deal and badge of courage, how much do you think CANCELLING on playing The Gathering makes you a bitch-made PUSSY?!

Breuer is dead to me. After having only just recently discovered his “born again” conversion, his connection to Bill Cosby and then JUST YESTERDAY hearing him mention his wife’s “faith”…. this cancellation is just what I needed to write him off. He turned his back on us. It’s like inviting someone over for family dinner, making up a place at the table, preparing the food with them numbered amongst the rest to be concerned about… and then have them fuckin’ cancel on some BULLSHIT like having to shampoo the dog!

 

Some people like spoken word; others like performance art, I feel like comedians are both and I have a lot of respect for the profession as subversive expressionism. Comedians have to be brave. Getting up in front of strangers and making them laugh is all  noble AND scary and inspiring. Jim’s conversion was said to be a change to “clean” comedy… but now we know that really means “safe”. SAFE to him, safe to his metal oriented audience and safe to say WON’T BE MISSED.

It’s amazing. In a span of less than a month after hearing early on that Jim-fuckin’-Breuer was gonna play The Gathering, I went from being TOTALLY psyched to see him; all the way to drop-kicking his ass out of my mental rolodex of comedians I have to see.

I’ll start the chants, “-Fuck- -Jim- -Breuer-“!

  

Yeah, it sucks. He was the highlight from the whole lineup for me. His stand up is actually really really tight and he is funny as fuck in discussing family humor, mixed with some subversive speinkles.

I know we are only just assuming what’s going down here, but I believe your opinion rings true. Jim discusses his wife’s extreme faith in a couple sketches, it occasionally brings the comedy down for a step or two. My opinion (aka fact) is that anyone that is so religious as to make that one of their main personality traits, is completely jnsane. I can see with ease her pressuring her husband to get baptised and freak out about devil Juggalos.

Shit she could actually come with him to the show and hang out with those Juggalos 4 Jesus blokes the whole time. Faygo on the house.

Bought another wig today. That makes four. Not finding nearly as many as I expected though. I swear it seems like previously, when I would go there NOT looking for wigs, everything I touched was tangled in a wig.

Can anyone direct me towards an enlargeable image file of the Faygoman logo. I am having problems trying to get a clean enough image enlarged to print out a stencil for the flag.

I have no idea what to ask for, I just need one I can make bigger without the outline frame getting all pixelated. I can only find smaller, icon/avatar sized ones and a bunch that are not “clean” as they are against backgrounds n’such.

i been lookin around the local thrift stores.  so far, not one cheap wig.  no wigs at all, actually.   

This place is just a big room with bins of all the crap that was either not sold when it was in a Goodwill store, or was too crappy and broken to put in a store. I’ve found some amazing stuff there for dirt cheap (two signed Predators jerseys are among my favorites), but 99% of it is pure trash. But it’s a great place to find wigs to throw at rap stars.
