What’s all this shit about Puddle of Mud?
Can you really say you don’t like ANYthing they’ve put out?
I don’t own anything of theirs and could not be considered a “fan” but I DO really like several of their songs.
*I am looking forward to seeing them play. They don’t “suck” at least. I could see people talking shit on a Nickelback booking but these guys are pretty rockin’.

No one new that was added that I don’t want to see. Its still Puddle of Mudd for me. I never liked them even back in the day especially because Fred Durst was the one who signed them and whatnot. Even without the Durst factor those hits that everyone remembers were awful IMO. Blurry was decent but that song where he is talking about how he likes the way someone smacks his ass…no thank you. And that she fuckin hates me song…
I never liked them back then and after reading some interviews with their douche lead singer I really can’t stand them. Well I shouldn’t say them I guess because Wes is the only member from back then. Either way I hope they play on the first night because I’m sure I will need a catnap anyways from the night before.

My 2 fav styles of music…rap and metal. To each their own but I love a good mosh pit. At 33(34 by the gathering) I don’t go in them much but I will pop in for a min. Even if I don’t go in I like being around the pit during a show. I love the blend this years gathering offers.

i really, really don’t like their music. It’s too dull. I came up with alternative, punk and “grunge” and post grunge bands like puddle of mudd and nickelback are just so cookie cutter and radio that it just bores the pants off me. It’s contrived and fake. It’s stiff and dull. There’s no magic or mystery. There’s no artistry. It’s the kind of “alternative” my mom would like.
It depends on when they’ll be playing if I’ll see them. And it’s not that they’re “bad”, it’s that they just aren’t interesting.

Yeah, agreed. I dont like it myself… i have conflicted thoughts on artists personally… Phil Anselmo, Eric Clapton, Cee-Lo Green, Michael Jackson, Chuck Berry, Axl Rose… tryin to just let the music do the talking… but yeah there is a funny photo online with Hank III, Phil, and Ice-T chillin. First thing I thought of was the rebel flag and how Ice-T would feel about it lol

If he did the AssJack side of his music (usually reps a pot flag for it and wears full body paint on occasion) I could see it going over well. Not to mention him and his whole band are known for hanging with his fans until everyone is ready to leave.

I haven’t heard a single thing from them I like. In fact, everything I’ve heard is very, very bad. BUT I couldn’t tell you more than five songs from them so it’s not saying much. Care to post one of their better tunes that you think would sell people on them?
