Ok, I can’t tell if you’re dissing Sublime, Deftones, or The Mighty Boss Tones… but all three of those bands are fucking awesome. So is Hole. Katy Perry I’m whatever. But all those other bands are great.
Hahah sory i got a couple drinks in me. Umm i fucken love sublime and the deftones with all my heart. Katty perry and hole opened up for them on two different occasions. Hole is just not for me at all and katty perry was just wierd and surreal. Cant say i didnt enjoy looking at her. And i like the mighty boss tones too. I just like saying the mighty deftones
YOU KNOW THEY AINT NO SUCH THING AS LEFTOVER CRACK!!!- Leftover Crack

me too, except it doesnt seem like she would open her holes for those guys.
ya know when this thread is gonna be relevant? when they announce who will actually be there this year, and everybody chimes in on who sucks and who theyre gonna skip [or, much more often, would skip, if they were gonna be there].
awfully paranoid, arent you?

Couple of things:
Gaga and Katy Perry both have SUPER theatrical shows, which would be awesome to see. That’s part of the reason I like ICPs shows. However, I wouldn’t want them there because I know how the juggalos would act.
Secondly, *according to the Jokerr* he was invited a year or two ago, but he turned it down.

You’re right. Which makes me curious how things will change between now and then.

honestly, almost any mainstream act that has some talent would probably go over fine. from what ive seen of those two, their shows seem big enough, they seem to have talent. they can entertain.
just a matter of juggalos not attacking it from the get-go.
theres, as i say, thousands of examples that are not even worth mentioning, just cuz it would be stupid as shit to try.
but realistically, if lady gaga wanted to play the gathering, that would actually be a helluva major accolade. i bet they would bring her in.

Katy killed it at the super bowl, she’s dope af..id imagine ninjas would be hatin’ out the gate tho & her & gaga would be too expensive to book…
This. I’ve seen both perform live and they’re both incredibly talented. But I don’t think it would go over well whatsoever.

ya never really can tell who is gonna go over or flop at the gathering.
id have thought vanilla ice or hammer would get mad hate. and then after they went over, coolio gets mad hate.
method man and redman… how could it fail, right?
geto boys. most of the crowd didnt seem to care, i was naively surprised by that.
et cetera, etc, ad infinitum.
still havent thought of anybody that could possibly be there, that would bother me very much.

Another reason I’m not too keen on going to the Gathering. Who they boo and cheer… like… you know if you boo all the good acts and cheer all the stupid novelty washed up has-beens… you realize what you’re doing right?

I was definitely surprised to hear how the crowd reacted to Methodman and Redman. That would’ve been a highlight for me.
Damnit. I need to plan for 2016.
thats basicly what im sayin; the gathering is a moment-to-moment thing. everything just… happens.
still worth it.

Most definitely. I try to keep an open mind when it comes to music. I’m mad I missed last year’s line up … would’ve loved to have seen Yelawolf perform.
For me its all about finding the right group of friends to go with. One day, my friends. One day.

Out of the artists that play the gathering I’d probably say Zug Izland… the fact that they are still signed to PSY Records blows my mind. I really never understood their music what so ever. P.S. I think I might actually enjoy seeing Gaga live, her older shit mixed with few beers… yeah, I can rock with that. lol
