Damn, scruffy, hold a grudge much? Yeah, people were assholes, and threw shit no right-minded person should be throwing into a crowd. Yeah, you had the misfortune of being hit by said shit. Yeah, it wound you up so bad that between being injured from the impact, and being pissed about it happening at all, that it ruined the rest of the experience for you. But my brother, you got to let it go. I’m starting to get the feeling that that occurrence is the primary memory you took away from last year… And if that’s the case, you’re not being fair to yourself. You’re letting the assholes win, empowering them to know that they control whether or not someone has a good time. One of the people from that group could be lurking here, and every time you reference it, they get a chuckle at your expense.
Look at the bright side…
It could have happened on day one, and ruined the ENTIRE trip. It didn’t.
It could’ve hit you even more squarely, and knocked you out, or hospitalized you, or worse. It didn’t.
When you went “hunting”, found and confronted them, that situation could’ve gone south in many ways. It didn’t.
Hold on to the good memories, and let go of the bad. Back in my teen years, I had innumerable bad things occur at (or because of) ICP shows – to the degree that those memories could’ve irreparably altered my opinion regarding anything ICP-related. But you’ve gotta let go of that shit. It’s bound to happen from time to time.
Please don’t misinterpret my meaning here. I’m not approaching this as an asshole, I say this as your friend. Hell, in a way, I even say this almost selfishly – because when I think that I had as good a time as I did, and think that your experience was ruined, it makes me feel like shit, because I couldn’t help prevent it from occurring.

I really just don’t care for his music. Honestly, me nor my lady even stayed for his set so I can’t tell you how it was. We went back to camp to do some more last minute pre-gaming before ICP.
Just to throw it out there, probably my favorite and IMO one of the best performances I’ve seen from the clowns was last years GOTJ.

nope. primary takeaway was the meetups. hangin out, talking to people i knew, meetin people i didnt. some of the shows.
that shit did not ruin the experience, it was just an ugly footnote, that happened to distract me while hopsin was doin his thing. as a result, i remember very little of his show.
