Also, on another note, Minnesota would also be totally cool with me. Can you imagine us all walkin' in the Mall of America, that would be the shit, that place is fuckin' awesome. Let's bring it up North ninjas!!! 

I thought that being in the middle of nowhere, literally, added to the whole Gathering experience. This is strictly a matter of opinion though. I still stand by the fact that if you went warlock, you would have had the time of your life there. That place was a home away from home for me, and i'm going to miss the hell out of it, but hey, what can you do? You should go next year, i'll even share my beer with ya. Never thought i'd say that now did ya? Haha

Yes, as awesome as 2000-2002 were, once it became a camping festival more than a venue thing, shit it became BEAUTIFUL! I envy those of you who got to go to Hog Rock, I've been MIA since 2004 . But Nelson Ledges was so damn fun.

I can't realistically see the Gathering moving too far west. The majority of people who go aren't coming from across the country...most are within a day's drive, lets say, a 12-14 hour drive. So if you take a place like Illinois (or Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, even Michigan, Tennessee or Pennsylvania) and you look at what percentage of the Juggalos in the country live within a day's drive of there, you've got a LOT of people. If you look at a place like LA or Las Vegas or even Denver, you've got a MUCH lower percentage of people within an easy drive simply because the west isn't as densely populated as the east. If they're putting the time, effort and money into hosting a Gathering, they're gonna want the biggest turnout they can get. My best guess is that it will stay somewhere in the midwest. My specific guess would be that it's moving back to Michigan.

And to me, Hogrock will always be home since that's the only thing I've known thus far. But hey...hopefully they pick a nice place for it. A flat, shady campground with real toilets and showers...a clean lake to swim in...basketball courts...I mean hey, if we've gotta move, lets hope for upgraded amenities at least!

I went to Hogrock multiple times from Colorado and never took a ferry. None of my friends ever took a ferry either. You can drive across the Ohio river on a bridge. Warlock, you should start living with your feet and eyes, it seems like you rely on your ears to much. The ferry? Seriously? LOL
