If it's not getting high, then there's prolly a reference about getting high.
I still liked Sunrise Sessions. Prolly because their shit hasn't gotten old to me, because I haven't heard much more from them, so I don't see a difference.
Whatever album Daydreamin' Fazes is on, I gotta find out, that was a pretty cool song.

Nah they talk about other stuff. Stomp is about how people are bugs that bother them and they stomp on them. Long live the Kings is about how Dirtball is a new song and that the Kmk will live forever. Sometimes they have sex songs or songs about other drugs too!

well ocj that song was ... a "gem"... that i seemed to have missed in my previous trips down into the dark depths of kmk past... i don't know if i should thank you for bringing it up or if you should have left it laying down in the vaults to gather more dust

I love them and I don't even really smoke weed! They have had some low points 'No.7' being the lowest and sometimes Daddy X's raps are too 'nursery rhyme' for my liking. But Sunrise sessions, Mile High and their latest single have all been killer! I am looking forward to their next album. I admit its a shame J Rich left and a change of topic would be a welcome change but apart from that 'Long Live the Kings'

My brother told me once, at a time of great personal peril to both of us: "Brendan I can die happy because I know ive gotten to see Take a Bath live hopefully the only tour they were high enough to put it in their set list." Its true on one of the first Strange Noize tours they did it live with Big Krizz Kaliko on the hook right before or after they did this track live

I've been sick of KMK since like after their 4th album. It's just the same topics over and over again! Drinking, smoking, suburbs, white boys and skating. Cut the shit Daddy X we know your old ass can't skate anymore. If I wanna hear some group rap about weed over and over again... I'll listen to cypress hill. But KMK puts on a great fucking show live.

Kmk are local and even before they hooked up with the clowns I thought their shit was tired, predictable, redundant, and artificial. I've never cared for them. Whenever they or most of the dudes they put out open for someone I like, I usually stand there awkwardly while juggalos get mad at me for not being all nuts over them.

Side note, I used to date this chick whose older sister went to school with Johnny Richter and she had all these prekmk demos and shit. She was always so excited about them and how they were going to be worth something some day.
She's probably still waitin.
Damn. I haven't thought about her in years. Weird.
I actually never like KMK, except a few songs here and there, until Sunrise Sessions, then Mile High came out and it was awesome. When Richter left he took the soul of the group, no rhythm in the choruses. I always liked richters solo stuff better, along with kingspade. Point being, the highlight of KMK was Sunrise Sessions. That's the only one i can play through, all their other material is average, 5 or so good songs per album. FOR GOD SAKE THEY WERE AWFUL WHEN SAINT DOG WAS A MEMBER he has the most annoying speech impediment ever.

I stopped really caring much about KMK after Rollin' Stoned. I still eventually check out their latest releases and have dug some of their work post Rollin' Stoned, but as a whole I just can't feel it. They are a TERRIBlE offender of quantity over quality. They release a 20+ track album like every year and, for my tastes, I will only enjoy 1-3 of those songs. If they would take a bit more time and really just focus their efforts on like 12-14 songs per album, I probably would have been more into KMK over the years. I am a big fan of reggae music, so I've never had any trouble digging their reggae tracks, which have become more abundant. So, overall, I certainly can get down to some KMK, mostly old and some new, but they have way too much filler for me to claim I'm not a bit tired of them.
