3/4 of strange fans are Juggalos.

M.N.E. fans are Juggalos.

I.C P. Was decent enough to not

lock these wanna be’s in to a contract.

Yea, like the Strange/Twizler festivals

Will be on the same level as the Gathering.

People don’t go to the gathering to see Tech or Twiztid….understand.

Once again, you proved my point on these other people basically Biting I.C.P.’s blueprint and style.

Tell Twiztid to change the name of the record company and gimmicks and come in to their own. Other than that they don’t have a leg to stand on.

Its been a couple years now, and next to even an throwback “Riddle Box” show the attendance at a Boring Twiztid show is laughable.

The clowns had to bear the brunt to pave the way for these cocksuckers and everyone who came behind them.

I hope Jump fires them up to air these unloyal, Glorified stagehand’s out.

I would honestly be OK if Psy cut everyone loose and focused on ICP, cons, and that sort of thing.

I feel like a Strange Music festival could actually get a pretty big turnout, if only because Tech could likely get some pretty big names on the bill.

17, the year of the juggalo…

Madchild, jelly roll, mushroomhead, ho99o9, sewerside, idk I am just naming random people, but they could take anyone on the road with them. It’s probably easier with people on the roster because they don’t have to pay them as much.

Idk, who opened for them in 1994? Or whenever that ringmaster show was filmed

No, nobody forgets because the haters are constantly bringing it up.

clearly twiztid have forgot..

You think Twiztid would stand on their own if their shit wasn’t top notch?

yes, i think their schtick just appeals to more ninjas than modern icp’s does..

They are relevant because they produce quality music.

eh, its been awhile..

Y’all hate on their grind all you want but they are adapting to the changing world around us.There has been a steady stream of videos singles and other flavor to hold us over.

i dont hate their grind, actually i wish theyd release even more cuz then maybe i’d find some quality, haha..

That’s a stretch dude.  Maybe back in ’05.  Have you recently been to a Tech Show?  Last time I went was about 2 years ago and even back then there was maybe 20-25 Juggalos.

When isn’t the world like fuck us kill us? As usual I’ll be painting wicked scenarios like “what if Violent JJ blows his college fund on Russian hookers & elephant tranquilizers?” (“Elephant tranquilizer carfentanil linked to 19 deaths in Wayne County… carfentanil — an animal tranquilizer being mixed with heroin and other street drugs — is killing people in Michigan.”)

I’m probably in the minority, but I actually enjoy Psy’s current lineup. The only exception for me is Lyte. I get that he can rap, but the world already has MGK, Madchild and forty other cats who look just like him. He’s going to have to come with literal (and I mean literal) devastation in order to hold my attention. And listening to him use that uncomfortably forced Juggalo lingo which comes to the rest of us so organically in that PSA made me want to rip my own testicles off, throw them at my cat and run her over with a motorcycle out of sheer cringe.

Is their lineup as strong as MNE’s? No. Not even close. It could be, with some development, and the recruitmentt of the right kind of talent, however. As it stands, MNE holds the same roster as Psy’s strongest period, and I know that I’m not the only one who feels this way. Lex and Gmo are beasts and a shot of fresh young blood where it was sorely needed. If you don’t believe that, you don’t have ears. And uh…AMB is there too. People…seem to like them.

Problem is, a schism exists on the business end of things which may or may not transfer over into the culture. No march, no Gathering, no Juggalo day. That’s not a drop in the pot, ladies and germs. And fools are already picking sides. But… I hate to break it you guys (and this time, I am lying. Looking at you scruffy), if every Juggalo turned their backs on Twiztid right now, just straight bounced on’em (which won’t happen) Twiztid and MNE would be fine. Now I’m sure that idea is offensive to Juggaegos, but hear me out:

What Twiztid is doing, and has been for a long time, is cracking open new demographics. I’ve mentioned before about Twiztid reaching into the broader horror culture, and how they’re kissing cousins with Juggalos. Thing is, the other side of that fence isn’t too keen on that association. Seriously, in the pre-MNE days, in the rare instance that Rue Morgue or Fangoria had something to say about Juggalos it was typically derogatory. I think that there’s a whole nation of horror fans that enjoy the kind of music that Twiztid or Boondox or Blaze offer and are happy to not have the direct Juggalo association. Not saying that a tank in Juggalo support wouldn’t hurt them in the short term, it just wouldn’t sink them.

Psychopathic is apparently scouting for talent to sign. If they’re serious about competing, they’ll take a page from MNE’s playbook and sign people who can already draw a Juggalo crowd. Lo Key would be wise, so would King Gordy or even Flatlinerz. (I’m aware they diss on one another idgaf) and most importantly: KEEP A LEASH OFF OF THEM. They tried to make Esham The Boogieman instead of The Unholy and motherfucker bounced out of Psy calling himself Black Hitler. I get that Psy likes to keep their artists and their gimmicks in line with their core values, but it really isn’t necessary. Juggalos don’t need, nor do I feel like they want, any kind of censorship in their music. We’re (mostly) adults. If a rapper comes on some devilshit it’s not gonna convert a grown-ass man into being a Satanist who wasn’t already on that type time. Stop being afraid of taking risks. I get that Juggalos are not a viscious gang, I’m down with the march and the charities and food drives and all that; but we’re also not philanthropic super heros all the time. Juggalos used to be notorious. There was a little sprinkling of danger there. That duality was important, and always came across in the music. If we can bring that back it would be amazing. Having cornball motivational videos and trying to rebrand Juggalos as misunderstood sunshiney diamond people who shine 24/7 is almost as bad as laying down and taking it in the butt over this gang label, because it takes away the same teeth and claws we as a collective have used to carve out our niche in the cultural consciousness.

That’s just my take on it all. Might not be yours. I dunno.

I think shit at psy is fine. Becky is dope. I’m not sure about lyte yet. Abk is staying put. Hoodoo murders shit on Asylum. Whoever their new group is, I’m sure they will build them up just fine.

Twiztid and blaxe were not loved when they came out. Neither was boondox. And just two years ago all you fucks were whining about how young wicked sucks.

If Becky keeps up the good work and drops dope ass albums for 20 years, constantly growing the way twiztid did, there’s gonna be juggalos crying when she leaves the label too. As for other people “deserving” the hatchet more, think about that a second. Psy ain’t a major label. People aren’t getting million dollar bonuses and shit. Someone who has been grinding and building their own empire doesn’t NEED psy. Becky did. She needed their insight and encouragement.

Twiztid got lucky that j broight them along on his ride up to the mainstream but none of them “deserved” any of it. No one is owed a career. No one is owed status.

And for most of the people that get named as wanting on psy own their own shit. Why give up that money? Same reason twiztid needed to leave. You only get paid if you own the shit.

@scruffy I invoked your name as a response to me using the term ‘I hate to be the guy’ again after your previous response to it. I wasn’t attaching you to any of the ideas I was putting forward. I wasn’t saying you were picking a side or any of that. This time it was me being the corny one, my bad.

“it may affect us, but it still aint our business.”

This is where I will terminally disagree with you. It might not be our business in the literal sense that these are not our businesses and we have no say there, but if something has an impact on you, you are involved, either directly or indirectly. Of course, the individual decides their own level of involvement but everyone has a right to speak on the things that effect them.

oh, right.  im with ya now.  the guy.

for the second part…

lemme put it this way:  water and sewage treatment affect your life about twenty times as much as this shit ever could.  how involved are you?  how much do you have to know about their internal relationships at the office?

right.  but if they were famous, oh, well, thats different.  now they owe.

[addendum]

granted, if you live in flint, whatever.  but i coulda picked damn near any business in damn near any industry.

that didnt involve famous people and their fans.

so all it is, is ‘yeah, but theyre famous.  and im a fan.  thats why this is my business.’

  awfully paranoid, arent you?

I call bullshit on 3/4ths of strange fans being juggalos. When I first heard Tech it was because my radio station used to play ‘I’m A Playa’ a lot. They also used to play Jellysickle. I remember Jellysickle being played in a highschool assembly before actually. Either way, I first got into him back in 06 from people that weren’t juggalos. At all. Even though most juggalos I’ve met and known have been Tech fans, most Tech fans I have ever met were not juggalos and actually made fun of juggalos. I couldn’t but an actual accurate statistic on it, I’d guess that 1/5 of Tech’s fans are juggalos.

You guys are just arrogant. Think you own people. It’s like, why ever say anything nice about or shout out juggalos ever when they are going to act like you’d owe your career to them?

I also call bullshit on Twiztid forgetting where they came from. They’ve said so many times since leaving in interviews how grateful they were for the opportunities ICP gave them. The only time they will say a name, actually.

Oh and the blue print thing. Since people keep claiming that Strange took Psychopathic’s blueprint for success. Tech cleared this up in an interview when Rosenberg compared their businesses Tech said they got their blueprint from E40 and Master P.

it may go without sayin, but in mid-mizzo, one out of five is way too generous.

ten, fifteen percent.  maybe.  at shows.  outside of shows, probably less than five percent, id guess.

course, its basicly his home field, so.

Oh yeah, at shows it’s not much at all, but I was going off of Tech fans I’ve met. Which isn’t an accurate indicator but still.
