I met violent j at a korn concert right outside of detroit. I saw somebody that I recognized but couldn’t figure out how I knew them. Then we made eye contact and I realized who it was. I didn’t recognize him since he dropped so much weight. I walked over to him and introduced myself, told him I’ve been down for over 20 years. Couldnt have been nicer, sat and talked with me for about 20 minutes. He was with a woman who I know was blahzay and she kept trying to get him to go by telling  him she had to pee and he sent her to the bathroom alone lol and stayed talking and then she came back and said she was hungry and he gave her money and told her to go eat. I got a picture with him. Cool ass dude. I talked to him at the riddle box show after party in Detroit a couple weeks back too but he wasn’T as friendly as the first time.

Happy Women’s Day everyone lol!

I didn’t know that it was her until I looked her up after the fact. He never introduced me to her at all. I think he thought I was gonna give him shit because I was with a bunch of my boys and I’m a lot bigger than him and I was drunk but he let his guard down when I told him I was down.

Probably bc he wasn’t in work mode, he was on regular downtime at that Korn show.

As a huge introvert with anxiety, self esteem issues and Asperger’s, I made a rule for myself not to approach people I admire entertainment wise because If I fuck up and they get upset or weirded out by my socially retardedness I wouldn’t be able to enjoy their work anymore knowing i bothered them.

My brother was like that. It terrified him to meet his heroes.

He met Ice Cube at Family Values Tour, who was just standing there, twisting a blunt. My brother said “what up?”. Ice Cube replied “what up?” And happily went back to rolling the blunt. That was it.

My wife met ICP but was too starstruck to speak much. They had sly, understanding grins on their faces and politely signed her stuff. She got more courage with Twiztid. She looked at Madrox, who had mustard on his face from food, and he stuck out his nasty food-covered tongue. He asked “do I scare you?” Wife said, “no”. She laughed and said “yeah right”. Monoxide stood there and freaked out like usual.

I met Tech N9ne twice. The first time was in around 2001 and he was standing in the back of the crowd after his set and we talked for a minute or two. 2-3 years later, he walked in a diner that I was in after a show and talked for a few seconds, the standard “whats up, good show.” “Thanks.”

Another show around 2000, Wolfpac had played a set and was later in the crowd, said whats up and gave me a CD.

Here’s my interactions and what have yous.

The first time I met everyone was the Dark Lotus instore tour, I had a spiderman’s head halloween pail thing that I was going to get signed by everyone for the fuck of it,  first person at the table was Madrox,  he traded me 2 newports and half of Blaze’s McDonald’s fries for it.  I ended up getting cover to Dumpin signed (they signed it as the rydas which was pretty cool)  Years later I did the meet and greet at the GOTJ and I asked Jamie if he still had spiderman’s head, he was like “Oh from the Kansas City instore?” that shit blew me away.

TechN9ne’s manager lived up the road from us, so we’d always see Tech at the gas station filling up the Anghellic vans.  Dude’s pretty cool, never more than a whuttup though.

Potluck was opening for KMK, it was cold and icy as fuck out and a bunch of people in line helped them get their gear and merch in, not so much as a thank you.

Same show, they let everyone in early because it was cold as fuck out, so Lou Dogg came out and was chatting with everyone, being awesome as he do,  the rest of the band walked in and he was like check this out! and crouched down a bit and started calling their names.  They didn’t even look over.  The look on his face when he realized that they didn’t give a shit about us will haunt me to this day.

Pakelika and I used to chat on facebook from time to time, he was a dope ass dude that will truly be missed.

In my teenage years, a friend and I were out high riding, we saw this dude with a big ass hatchetman in the back of his truck so we pulled up next to him, to our surprise it was an older fella.  We chatted a little bit at the red light and I’ll always remember it,  “Hey so do you guys like Zug Izland?”  we said “fuck no that River song is gay as shit.”  (that was like the only thing we’d heard at the time.  Dude just looked sad and said, “oh,. well Syn’s my brother” and drove off.  After cracked tiles came out and turned out to be amazing, we ran into him again and apologized for what we said.  His kids raced BMX at the park up from my house “Rock and Rye” was their team name and they had the dopest jerseys.

Got stuck in a elevator with Myzery at the peoria gathering, that shit was funny.

Twiztid was really chill when I met them held a conversation while sighing shit, my homie i went with have a conversation with Madrox about favorite snack

Blaze was pretty laid back sorta out of it, but freindly

ICP was cool, meet and greet was a bit rushed since we were near the end and it seemed like they were running late, but overall they had a really friendly demeanor. Shaggy seemed to sit back while J did most of the talking, J also perked up when I asked him if they were working with MEC on the new card, really seemed to be interested. They also called my homies dad, that we brought along since he introduced me to ICP many years back, they called him Sir which i thought was respectful and they said they were doing it out of respect (hes late 40’s btw)

Met Twiztid and Blaze on the opaque brotherhood tour. They came out of the bus and signed a ton of autographs for people. Me and another juggalo pulled our cars over by the bus and they signed his dash while I had them sign my subs in my car.

Met ICP at the gathering in 2012 at the augnagraph tent. Both very cool. Hurried obviously its the gathering.

Talked with boondox on Twitter a few times.

Met ICP during VIP on the Riddlebox and Milenko tours. Both VIPs were intimate they talked for a few minutes each time never rushed. Here they signed my subs again but I brought those bad boys in there. Now I have Jamie j shaggy and blaze on the jackhammers!

Walked in front of/with Shaggy at the march was cool as fuck. Then two weeks later he signed my shit on the Milenko tour and he remembered me very cool.

Met Clay at the march talked with him during lytes set DJ Clay is cool as fuck.

Met Lyte and Hoodoo at Hallowicked both quick interactions.

Met ABK on a few of his tours always down to drink afterwards.

ALL of the artist have always been professional, relaxed and cool as fuck. A lot of people will bitch about $100 for VIP but what other artists would do something like that for such a low price. NONE ! So for them to step out and interact with the Juggalos like they do is awesome.

I met icp at the jeckel bros instore in 99. Both were cool and both entertaining.

I met twiztid, blaze, abk and lavel during the rock the dead tour in 2000. After the show my brother, 2 friends and I went to look at the tour bus and they all came out and talked and signed shit for a good half hour. There was a club next door and a couple preppy douche bags came out and were like who’s in the bus and giving us shit for the way we looked then monoxide came off the bus with a knife and chased them away. Funny shit

then it gets a bit fuzzy because I went to so many shows and instores after that. I remember an instore where it was icp and twiztid signing autographs together. I don’t remember what year or album(s) they were promoting, it was either 2000 or 2001. Again all 4 were very cool and madrox gave my brother a cigarette.

I do remember the Wraith instore going through the Funhouse truck. J was not there bc he was getting wrist surgery. It was shaggy, Esham and jumpsteady. Oh and I met icp and abk during the haunted house tour that year.

Ive also met and chilled with madrox and violent j on separate occasions during the 2003 and 2004 gatherings. Violent j was paintless and I remember him explaining why kurupt was booed off stage and the juggalos threw shit at him during part of the conversation.

At the 2005 Gathering I took my stash box with me to the autograph tent. It was a standard square wooden box with a flip lid. Esham and Monoxide wrote on the inside of it, and Madrox asked if it was a bomb and decided to autograph the top of it. When I got to ABK he asked me if I kept sandwiches in it. At the time I thought ABK’s reaction was hilarious because the box was way to big for sandwiches. I think his lisp also helped make it funnier.

I thought I was going to be dealing with a Jonathan Baruchel, and then I met homie and was like ‘Oh shit that’s Jay Baruchel!’

Sure enough, if you google it, dude’s real name is Jonathan.

He seemed super paranoid that I’d caught him after he’d just smoked a huge phatty. 😆

To say anymore would reveal what I’ve done for a living for the last 14 years, and I like keeping that a mystery on here….
