My boy was a local show promoter around here for a few years, and I was his best weed connect at the time, so when he booked acts he always had me slide thru to sell them buds, met many “juggalo celebs” as you call them this way. Just going off memory, coolest dudes: Kung fu vampire, king Gordy, potluck all very humble acted like regular dudes you’d meet on the streets. Biggest assholes: bizarre of d12 and boondox fuck those guys, exact opposite. Most memorable: Esham and Bizzy Bone, in just smoking one L with Esham and talking to him I could tell he wasn’t mentally all there if you know what I mean but still one of my all time fav rappers. Met AMB this way too actually, Otis was drinking mt dew and I thought I’d be funny and fuck with him so I walked up and said something like “you ain’t no real juggalo, I said Faygo fuck mt dew ” he half laughed and gave me a look like “fuck you asshole” still hilarious thinking about that to this day.

Although I can’t tell all those stories without the grandest of em all. But this one took place at the gathering. My very first in 08, the same year there is that video of shaggy letting dude hit him with the bar wire wrapped 2×4, he stopped by our campsite and saw we were shocking each other with a stun gun, he must have been fucked up on mad pain pills that year cause he was crazy, he let my boy shock him in the bear armpit with that shit, swear to FUCKING god he didnt flinch, held a cigarette in his mouth the whole time too. Shaggy is no joke, he is that ninja for sure.

My old man drove myself and a friend to Kansas City for the Dark Lotus instore around 2001. Me and my friend got autographs and daps. Look back my dad is talking to J. He told him how far we drove to meet them. J gave us a Juggalo Boxset for the ride home for free. Good times.

I thought this thread would be about celebrities that are Juggalos, didn’t think it meant the artists themselves.
Now? My head’s gone full Rain Man…
Alas, I only have second hand stories – granted a fair few funny ones – mostly from Europathic days, but none of my own, really.
In terms of folk from Psy/MNE, I’ve never personally met any of them. Used to talk to Boondox on MySpace, mind.
He always seemed cool. But if we brought in online chatter then I could be reeling off a fair few names, I guess.
Not really a Juggalo artist, but a lot of Juggalo’s dig PLR/Uncle Howie; Ill Bill is cool as fuck.

Me too. For instance, at 2016 GOTJ the infamous & naked “ROCKIN OUT WITH MY COCK OUT!!” guy jumped over a table and chased me toward the main stage until I screamed “THE GROUND IS LAVA!” That seemed to frighten him back to his hole. Good times.

VJ – Brief, “Hey, How’s it going?” Not rude, but distracted.
Boondox – Same, handshake, small talk. Nice guy.
DJ Clay – Hung out for awhile when he was on tour with Zug, smoked nugz & had beers, always cool, very chill & very friendly.
Mike Clark – Awkward, IDK why. Only met once, we were sitting at the bar together waiting for killa to finish his set & just trying to find something to talk about. He’s nice though, bought me a beer.
ROC – Rude af, still a fan tho ✌?
AMB – YW was chill af until he got sober ? nah, i think VJ just filled his head up with confidence & made him a dbag. Bonez is kinda the opposite, he was always pretty chill but had a bit of cockyness back in the day but now he’s humbled af, it’s lame.
Myzery – Awesome guy, we still talk from time to time, nene is a real mf, but he’s also pissed off about something pretty much every time we’ve ever spoke lol Hotheaded mf
PJB – Met once, we turned up hardcore! These dudes are the shit & they can fucking DRANK. they even pulled my drunk ass on stage to do “This is Fa Tha” with them. Had a blast.
Zug Izland – The coolest mf’s in the scene of course! ? my boys. (never actually met Joey V tho, or alot of the other random temp members Greg scooped here & there)

Well I have 3, 2 were in San Francisco at “The Pound” and it was Blaze and Zug Izland (on different days) and the other was Myzery at the Peoria gathering.
Blaze: IDK who fucked it up but someone got the dates wrong for the Blaze concert but being in the bay area we always purchased our tickets directly at the pound so we were fine. In told that concert only had about 20 people. But the most i remember was that I touched his stomach:)
Zug Izland: not alot of people at this concert either but we unloaded and loaded up their shit before and after the concert, they gave us cds and we hung out for about 2 hours. They were super nice.
Myzery: Super nice guy, he was high as fuck but we bought the red eyez cd off of him and we got to drive around in his suburban.

I’m writing them all down and turns out I’ve met, or at least interacted with, a bit of “celebrity Juggalos”
Violent J (a few brief interactions): Not into hangin out. Not rude but definitely in “business polite” mode.
Shaggy (a few brief interactions): Surprisingly fuckin real. Like, he would be more than down to get fucked up and chill if he wasn’t gettin hounded everywhere he went.
AMB (Once but for at least a half an hour): The type of people that brag about how fuckin cool they are. Every time Bonez hit the joint he would do that stupid fuckin thing that some people do where they stop hitting it and look at it for a minute. Smokers, why is that a thing? Why do you just look at the fuckin cherry and stop the flow of things? This was in ’06 so maybe they’ve changed but they dripped with “look how cool we are!” with their dumbass sunglasses and joint starin asses.
ABK (several times. Usually long enough for me to be the one to bounce): Annoyingly chill. Like, rather boring to be honest with ya. The only memorable moment with him was at some show he was chilling with everyone behind the venue and screamed he wanted to see some titties. I flashed him. He screamed Man Titties! and grabbed my man tit. Good times.
Twizzler (once): This was at the same show as ABK. They came out the back and went back in. Came back out with a group of pissed looking human muscles with em, got stopped by ninjas and told everyone they needed to leave. Superstar Syndrome for sure.
Vampiro (several times): Cool as fuck. I kept running into him at the Gathering and we kept stopping traffic to bullshit about old wresting and which Misfits lineup is better.
King Gordy (once): Same as J. Not rude but not into hangin around either.
Tech N9ne (twice, I think): Same as J but better at it than J.
Krizz Kaliko (once but for at least an hour): Very real and very humble. I’ve mentioned it before on here but talkin with him is probably my best “celebrity” experience. BTW: He’s hella religious but in the good way. It’s an important distinction to me.
PJB (once): Went to a local show to check em out. Small turnout but they stayed long after and drank and chilled with anyone that cared. Just kind of mingled and turned the place into a party after the show.
KVF (quite a few times): always fun and interesting to talk to. Dude’s smart as fuck but doesn’t come off as pretentious. Like, he just happens to know about a lot of things.
Syn (twice, briefly): Both times he was the embodiment of the asshole at a party that whips out an acoustic. He’s gross and stinks of too much cologne and cheep beer.
Rehab (once. But for hours on end): After their set at a Gathering some ninjas were having a fire. The two main dudes from Rehab stopped by with a cooler of beer and some acoustics. We all got fucked up and sang a bunch of Rehab songs that I didn’t know. Good people. Especially considering it was evident I didn’t know them well or care to know them well and they didn’t seem to care in the least. They were just there to have a good time and play some music.
Wolfpac (couple times): total fuckin assholes. Maybe the rudest “celebrities” I’ve met. Their stripper (the really tall one) was super cool though. She seems like she hates them just as much as everyone else.
Prozak (once): dumb as shit but didn’t seem rude or anything. Just…really fucking stupid. Like basic sentences and questions were beyond his comprehension. He likes Megadeth though, so that’s cool.
Rude Boy (a few times): Nice but so nice it comes off as fake. He’s either the sweetest, most caring individual to ever live or he’s fake as fuck. Take your pick.
Sugar Slam (once): I was at a show and this lette and her kid get behind me to try and see the stage. I tried to get out of their way (I always do for the youngins at shows. It makes me look nice and if they happen to catch a two liter to the face, well, maybe their parents might learn something), look and it’s Sugar Slam and JJ, tryin to see J from the crowd perspective. She ain’t havin getting ushered to the front and politely says they’re okay where they are. I talked to her for a minute or two and she was cool. Not overly cool but just like every other person there, kind of cool.

I had a pretty decent friendship with prozak for a while. I don’t know how anybody could think he’s stupid. He may have been high as shit when you met him or something. that dude and I have talked about horror movies and the wicked shit, and dude was hella on point. I mean I wouldn’t go so far as to say he was like on some super genius shit but he was definitely able to hold conversations and had thoughtful responses to shit I would say. Very fun, very creative, super generous dude.
When he rolled through LA on his first project deadman tour he gave me a grip of free shit, and was super excited about seeing me. I’d only hung out with him in person once before that (seeing as how he was in saginaw) and it was at a show where a million mother fuckers were on his jock. But he remembered my face and came up to me at the show in LA and was down as fuck.
Madness is cool as shit too, but my story about madness is less charming. One time, he, badmind, and Preest from fallen ent decided to IM me and we were all bullshitting on aim. And they were like you wanna see a pic of us all together? So I said yeah, and they took a picture mooning me. Thanks guys.
Whenever I have met ICP, J was way more friendly than Shaggy, which seems to be a big different than for most people. Shaggy always seemed hella quiet to me. He was always friendly, would offer me multiple hugs and shit, would clown on j, but if I tried talking to them it was J who would get excited. I gave em a piece of art at my first meet and greet and J was like “why do you wanna give this to us” so I was like, uh if you don’t want it it’s cool I just wanted to give you something to say thanks and J was like “no I mean, we’re nobody we’re just a band and this is so dope we don’t deserve it” then J asked me to sign it and asked me questions about it and shit. They promised to hang it up at the office. It was really exciting. When I was telling them about how they were the first people who ever told me that I mattered, Shaggy got teary eyed and J’s normal gruffy voice softened into his dweeby voice and he was like oh man you’re the shit blah blah. I left in tears.
At my first gathering, J and I talked about weight loss. He had told me he was running every morning. This was before the weight dropped off. It was really exciting to watch him change shape and to think that someday when I like myself I might be able to do the same shit.
Another time I met them I gave them some more art, they were really into it. Shaggy said he was gonna steal it and put it online. I told em I wanna do work for them. They never called tho. lol. Someday.

I’ve met Violent J twice now. Riddlebox tour and the violent J charity tour VIPs – both of them were pretty much the same, rushed VIP experience. I don’t blame him or shaggs for it. Typical “What up?”, handshake, picture and get a CD signed. At the riddlebox show I told J and Shaggs how much their music meant to me, that it’s helped get me through a lot of terrible times in my life. They both seemed appreciative.
Met twiztid like three times now. All VIP shows so again, it was kinda rushed but don’t blame ’em for it. Jamie is def the talker out of the two, I don’t know if Monoxide is just socially awkward, a huge introvert, some kind of anxiety or what, but he only ever seems like he’s 4/10ths of a person until he’s on stage and preforming. Jamie is always cool though. Talk a bit about food, comic books and shit – I’m a fat kid with green lantern tattoos, what can I say?
Boondox, two or three times now, cool dude but I didn’t have any sort of extended experience with him, handshake, picture, some small talk. about it.
Blaze. about 3 times again(I swear I’ll start talking about people I’ve only met once or twice soon.). Super chill fucking dude, always end up talking to him the most during VIPs because of lines and people ahead of me taking a bit longer at whoever’s after blaze(usually it’s Twiztid). He really seems to love his job, touring around, visiting different cities. Just seems like a genuine dude who loves what he’s doing for a career.
Lex. Met him twice at the same show, before and after his set. Seemed like he was in too much of a “go mode”, but he went to the merch booth to sign shit for fans who didn’t get VIP, so that was super dope of him.
Kung Fu Vampire. Met him once after a show, super fucking cool dude. Genuinely appreciative of all the fans, support and love that he got.
I got a strange VIP once a year or two back, don’t even remember what show it was for, but it was super rushed and I didn’t feel like I got to talk too or meet any of them. I can’t blame any of them for it, but the strange Meet and Greet was a huge disappointment, doubt I’d buy one again.

Twiztid was signing autographs at the Wizard World comic con in Philly around the time Man’s Myth/Mutant came out. I told Jamie I thought it was awesome that they opened with “Know Good” at the Gathering the previous year, and he seemed genuinely excited to hear that. I had them both sign some CDs and shit but I realized afterward I’d only gotten Madrox’s signature on the photo card thing they were giving away. Later that day, I saw Monoxide walking around the convention center checking out the booths, and I was like, “Hey, can you sign this? So I can have both of y’alls signatures on here?” He made this big dramatic sigh and said something like, “Jesus, man.” And their boy was like, “They’ve been signing autographs all day!” But I just kinda stood there (like, so fuckin what?). So he signed it lol. Kinda lame that he was crabby but whatever I get it I guess.
Before that I also got Twiztid’s autograph at the Gathering in ’03 or ’04 but the line was a mile long so you only got about 3 seconds of “face time,” I wouldn’t really consider that meeting them. The ICP lines were like 10 miles long so I didn’t bother.
And oh yeah before Shangri-La was coming out, they had Jumpsteady just driving around in an ICP/Shangri-La themed van. I saw on the website they were coming to my hometown of Huntington, NY (super random place for them to go), and I don’t think there was a real promotional event/location or anything, it was just like, “Go find the ICP van!” So my brother drove me over there and sure enough, I just saw Jumpsteady walking down the street and was like “YO JUMPSTEADY I’M A JUGGALO WHATSUP?!?!?!” And I was coming straight from private school, dressed like a total dweeb in a button up shirt and khakis, and he was just like, “Wdup, ninja? Come here, let’s go to the van.” (sounds way creepier in retrospect than it was) So we walked around the block and he just gave me a bunch of free shit like a Wraith poster, the Wraith sampler (“Simple and Blunt”), the Ryden Dirtay CD, 1 Less G, probly some other crap. It was so cool I felt like I was in a dream.
And finally, after seeing ICP at the Nation in D.C. in probly ’04 or ’05, we were in the parking lot and a van drove up to us and the driver rolls down the window and says to my friend, a woman, “Yo I know somebody who’d like to meet you. His name’s ABK.” She was not a Juggalo and she was like “What the fuck is ABK?” And we were like, it doesn’t matter, you don’t want to lose your virginity in a van to his road dogs BYE. I guess that doesn’t really count as meeting a celebrity juggalo.

So, I met ICP, Twiztid, Blaze, Boondox, and ABK at a show a few years back. Madrox and Monoxide were totally awesome as always. I have talked to them before on Ashtrays and Actionfigures and Madrox said he knew me and he was happy to see me, whether he was telling the truth or not, I don’t care. It was still legit. Blaze was awesome. Shaggy was really nice and I got to talk to him for quite awhile. So, then I met J. Ok, now I understand that J’s schedule is intense and he was really heavy at the time, but he was completely out of it. I had “Behind the Paint,” which I got signed by everyone on the Psychopathic roster and I went to J and was like,”This book really touched me. I am so happy I got to read this man and you inspire me.” He was so out of it that he wasn’t even there. I don’t know if he was high as can be or what, but it was like talking to a wall. He could barely even hold his sharpie and his autograph in true J fashion, was just a bunch of lines. Like actual lines, no signature. I didn’t care about the autographs, I just thought it would be cool to have the book signed by them all as like,”Yeah, the book has all the legends signing it.” I asked if I could take a photo with J and J mumbled,”Sure…yeah homie.” He was completely faded and I took the photo and gave him a hug and thanked him for the years of music. I am not expecting these guys to be super excited, which Madrox was and he always delivers when it comes to meeting fans. He looks right at you and listens and responds with truth. J was actually a disappointment to me because it was like when I go to comic con and meet celebrities and some aren’t even in the moment. I started to think,”Maybe J is just so famous now that he doesn’t really care anymore.” The show was after that and it was like J was in the zone. Now, he wasn’t just like that with me. He acted like that to everyone who walked up to him because I watched.

R.O.C. being “rude as fuck” is definitely a new one. I’ve known the dude for a minute / talk when it’s possible and never has he come across that way with people.
Young Otis and Bonez….even back in the Underground Psycho’s Days these kids thought they were untouchable and the shit like that. Now maybe they’ve become humble. I know Young Otis has. Not sure about Bonez.

I have never met ROC (and I am also a huge fan of his), so I am not trying to argue here, but when I read what druggalo said, I thought it was interesting because it matched what Violent J said about him in Behind The Paint. He blasted him pretty hard in there. Painted a pretty obnoxious (or annoying at least) picture of him. I think he even called him a bitch. Not as in “he ain’t hard” but as in “he bitches and complains about everything”. I always found that amusing because ROC got signed by Psy later. And I never heard or saw anyone (neither J nor ROC) address all the shittalking about ROC in behind the paint.
