PSY is now what it was from 1991-1996…..a label for ICP to release albums on and stuff no one really cares about (Then: Project Born……now Big HooDoo, Lyte, etc.).

It being a family of artists that all represented one unified subculture is done. Psychopathic used to be truly magical, that shit is gone for good now.

The healthiest Psychopathic ever was as a true “family of artists” was Psychopathics from Outerspace Part 2.

From now on it’ll just be ICP and a rotating cast of artists Juggalos don’t really care about. Blahzay, DJ Clay, Big Hoodoo, Lyte, Cold 187um, DJ Paul…

Just cuz you dont care about certain artists doesn’t mean juggalos don’t.

I wouldn’t mind a new psychopathics from out of space with tracks from a new super group with the current roster.

If you really believed that all lives matter we wouldn't need to say black lives matter

Yea for real, I was brought back into this shit because of the homie dj Paul. Ur speaking for urself with that shit. Hoodoo and hutch, shit. Those cats are dope af. Dj clay can fuck off along with lyte and Guido for all I care, but The other cats are some of the best thing to ever be on psy.

the whole “don’t judge him by his past music” thing is whack. His job is to impress us. If he hasn’t impressed us yet, that’s his fault not ours.

this doesn’t mean we refuse to be impressed in the future. He’s gotta bring it. He’s gotta swing for the fences.

Fuckin’ A to that.

I’ll admit the best years, the glory years are in the past. But things only last so long. Nothing is forever . Time is constantly changing whether you want it to or not. Psychopathic is no exception to change. The record label must evolve or it will perish. Think about it like evolution. Animals must adapt to change or they perish. Psychopathic needs to continue on a fresh direction. Plus exploring and signing new unheard artist in my opinion is better then living off the past.

People keep talking about the old days and saying they been declining for DECADES, 20 years ago, they went platinum, and again 18 years ago.

I think the decline came when they left the major label, they only really had success with a big label behind them. After Jeckel Bros, it was down hill. They admitted to just using Bizarr/Bizzar to end their contract with Island, and i think the shift in imagery on those albums is where they lost alot of people, not to mention the Ray Day fiasco. And then to have the falling with Mike Clark, before the 6th, it seems like they never really recovered.

Evolve or die. I think it’s dope they’re still experimenting and signing folks. Maybe it’ll inspire new projects and sounds … maybe it won’t. Either way we’re still getting new artists and a throwback tour. This juggalo is happy.

You know what I think is kinda weird.. When I was first exposed to and fell in love with their music I was in junior high school and I would wager that MOST people that did were also young. Like high school or junior high. Back then it was dark and wicked. Thats what hooked us.

Now its alot of happy poppy friendly type of shit. Thats whats supposed to appeal to the younger audience today. WHY!?! Who decided that? The dark ass wicked ass murder music is what hooked me and probably most of yall when we were young. Why make such a change? Are kids now too sensitive for the wicked shit? I doubt it. Makes no sense to me. They could still evolve and spit next-gen wicked shit, they just chose not to evolve in that way.

Last year when J talked about producing “The Prostitute” album with Blahzay it seemed rooted in the wicked, but then it started “raining diamonds” and Psy started sounding like a used car salesman. Looking forward to the next card; hope it’s powerful.

Yeah, look, they’ve never been amazing MC’s and that’s why I listened to Wu, Outkast, Non Phixion, Eminem etc for… they brought something DIFFERENT and that’s why I got into them. With all this happy generic trappy kinda stuff, there is nothing to serperate them except their lack of skills. I’ll just listen to a normal trap artist that can rap his ass off if the content is the same as ICP trying to do that kind of music.

j & shaggs had/have more talent than big boi & most of the wu. more than cry baby ass feminem to. hell, even more than 2pac, who was never that great of a rapper. period. an amazing human being but get real i can count all the great 2pac songs on my fingers & he had mountains of music, most of which he didnt even like.

you are fooling yourself.

their ability to tell a story or convey emotion is outstanding. when shangri-la came out things did change. the more positive underlying message became the forefront. we’re not sorry if the positive vibes make you uncomfortable. bitch asses.

remember the butterfly. RIP lord infamous.

I used to be cool with the happy go lucky shit ICP made. The reason it was special was its sparsity. It was the light at the end of the dark tunnel. It’s true, I started listening to ICP as a teen because of the wicked shit and story telling aspect. Once I became a juggalo I was able to enjoy their more hype tracks that weren’t stories or about violence. Once I found the inspiring shangri la diamonds kinda tracks it was like this great icing on the cake. It made the violent and sick content enjoyable because ICP had a straight moral compass. It alchemically changed the music from led to gold, and my own anger/sadness into positivity.

Tell you what though, now that we’ve had FOUND released, we no longer need happy shit right now. We have a fucking full album about it now. Shangri La at least had some wicked shit. To me a joker’s card should have their most creative stories, their darkest content, and then an enlightening track or two to remind the listener of the message. Is it a formula? Yeah, but it’s what I want and many others want.

Lost was alright, had some gems. House of Wax and Phantom were super dope but they fell to the wayside. I ask some juggalos about those albums and they always have no clue what I’m talking about.

I guess what I’m saying is I want a full LP with dark themes and creativity. ICP can still put it down, loved last year’s hallowicked track. Hell’s Pit is probably my fav jokers card, which apparently is an unpopular opinion, so I want something more along those lines.

Each track should be distinct and well crafted. No cringe and filler shit like Pineapple Pizza or Dreams of Grandeur. Are they funny? Sure.

Do you guys seriously ever just deliberately go and play those songs everyday? I mean for me Bugz on my nutz gets more rotation than those.
