i'm not entirely sure where everyone gets this "miserable" twiztid image from...for years now, they seem content and pretty genuinely happy in every clip ive seen. if anything, it seems like they are pigeon-holed into the "negative/horrorcore" scene. That is the double-edge sword of being the only successful act on psychopathic (besides icp ofcourse)-they have a strong, dedicated fanbase, excuse me, "family" but that "family" is very niche and not willing to really respect artistic freedom outside of the "horrorcore" canopy.

 

biggest difference between the two acts is talent...when discussing musical integrity and skill at the craft, your only fooling yourself if you dont realize icp is way passed their prime and only getting worse.i would say the exact opposite goes for twiztid, abominationz was an incredible release and really validated twiztid's talent and how much more they have to offer.

 

if i were J, i would be in panic mode.psychopathic is at a crossroads and desperately needs a total makeover or it will not last much longer.where as twiztid are most likely going to sign with strange and expand their music to a new, supportive fanbase that is sure to bring more success & $$$ than they have experienced in a decade (speculation, but i would be willing to put money on it), psychopathic is fucked. icp was the face of the franchise and twiztid was the faithful soldier carrying the torch...the only act really worth checking on the roster.you are kidding yourself if you don't see how much their departure hurts the label and im sure J knows it (absolutely hates it...but can't deny it)

 

psychopathic doesn't seem interested in capturing relevant/up&coming talent...they don't appear to have an A&R division whatsoever. they have lost their only asset outside of icp and seem content on keeping the ship sailing, no regard for the damage done or the fact that they are capsizing.

 

i mean...legz diamond and the purple gang?...are you fucking serious?...theyre gonna send legz, J's brother, and his babysmomma out there in zoot suits and call it a day?...they need to let go of the "gimmick" aspect and find talent.music is WAY more important than theatrics, they got lucky with twiztid.im extremely excited to see twiztid sign with strange (once psychopathic actually releases them...) and the magic they create in such a thriving environment.having followed both labels for such a long time, its really impressive looking at what strange has become and the talent they have assembled...psychopathic should be scouring the globe for an act such as mayday, ces cru, kaliko, etc...

 

lastly...the infomercials/approach of psychopathic is an insult and embarrassment to any fan...or "juggalo" if you will...ugh...i don't even wanna get started on how counterproductive and hurtful that shit is from a marketing standpoint...speaks volumes for how out of touch and lost the label really is.

I'm talking more so on business path they would do better going solo if they learned from Icp. Tech on a personal opinion I feel he did sell out. But the thread I created was just to troll the tech fans.

I don't think Twiztid is big enough to roll solo. They're no ICP.
