I think ICP's positive act is a lot of PC bullshit to give off the impression they're not effected by anything. Image sake. When J has admitted to being on antidepressants and his obesity isn't from someone who has a peace of mind. Not to mention his drug use. That's depression and insecurity showing. I think they're angry they just hide it these days because they don't want to ruffle any feathers. They're still a joke to the world and that's something J has been trying to change forever. Changed up his music and everything for it but it still hasn't turned around. Saying how honored he is when SNL disses them. They asked to perform on SNL after that and SNL's answer was putting them in a closet to be kissed by a guy.

Then Boondox leaves and they talk up how everything is all great and family. But some instagram pic came from their studio with a silly picture covering his face up and they started selling his merch again without him knowing it. The silence on Twiztid leaving says it all I think. Fam-uh-lee. I'm sure J is happy with his success when he thinks about it but if you can't recognize that he wants way more than he has you're blind. Greed isn't a sign of happiness and he complains about the image they have to anyone who will listen. I think the only time he was content with everything was during Shangri-La when everything fell in place for him. But it also brought in arrogant J. Since then it's been one cluster fuck after another. He let their name go through the mud in hopes of finally being accepted. He was really banking on MDP being their biggest album ever after going through that whole Miracles fiasco but nope. Still selling to the same small fan base while the rest of the world still laughs at them. Only thing that changed is they made more juggalos upset.

Then there's the whole juggalo scene, FBI, etc. He can pretend he's happy all the time publicly but it's so fake. He's insecure and wants to be accepted so bad and now even juggalos diss him. Just looking at his bank account isn't telling the whole story because he could have retired after the 6th if money was all he was after. The world keeps turning and there's plenty he's angry about it. He's just not coming forth about it. He's taking it all on the chin for image sake in hopes of being accepted because he has big dreams of one day being a Vegas attraction. Sounds like a good idea on paper but ICP are in a comatose state to even their fan base now. Trying to make everyone happy makes no one happy.

On the flip side Twiztid's negativity has brought them down too. It's like they refuse to see that anything is good. It's like they saw ICP trying to clean up their image so they went past negative to hatred. If they can't be happy they're making a living off their music when every other shitty underground artist fails, it's like really? Both groups are being dishonest IMO and the music and scene has suffered. Though Twiztid's talents are at least keeping their music sounding good though a bit repetitive. And I don't get the vibe they're having any fun like they used to. I appreciate them not forcing happiness like ICP but nobody wants to hear hate all the time either. Forced hate is just as wack and I don't want them to turn into one of the million horrorcore rappers. ICP is washed up and they don't know who they are anymore musically. I miss the AJB/Mostasteless days when they were all just young and having fun. But since those days will never come back they should at least stop forcing themselves to portray an image of something they're not. Who here believes both groups wish they could take the paint off and make music from the heart? I do. But it's a huge gamble, more so for ICP. They're risking the chance of losing what they have. So it's funny. While people point to their success as their means to happiness, it's also what's keeping them miserable.They're gimmick rappers, ICP and Twiztid. If they can't accept that maybe they should both hang it up because I'm getting sick of both sides crying about themselves.

And JuggaloJ it wasn't just HOK going on tour that got them on the label. J also said in the book it was the demo they gave him that really sold him. He emphasized that heavily.

Anyway I'm rambling now and probably made a bunch of contradictions in this post butt fuck it. Bottom line is both ICP and Twiztid need to get their heads out of their asses and make this shit fun again (and please J if you're reading this not grade school "fun" like you've been doing, we're retarded but not completely) before the scene dies all together. It's already shrinking.

Juggaloj, and it pains me to say this, is actually making sense in a way here. ICP will never make another riddlebox or milenko album, that much is obvious. It's not that we need to get over it, we just need to stop expecting it to happen, because it won't. I thought MDP was going to be like that, with all the promotion and everything, but I wasn't feeling it. Ghetto rainbows is also the most embarassing thing they have ever done, way worse than miracles was. They're still funny as fuck and cool as all hell, just don't expect much from them musically anymore. In my opinion, hell's pit was the last great ICP album. They still give a great concert and the gathering is the shit every single year, so that's really all that matters. I just play all the old shit.
