i wish J was actually on drugs again. when he was on anxiety pills like xanex for the bizzar bizzar and dark lotus tales from the lotus pod, he was so loopy and animated and just let everything go. he was creative as hell

when he was smoking weed during the shagri la era, he was shining and "sticky situations" was an ill ass verse.

he needs 2 smoke out and listen 2 the latest albums and he will realize, wow this isnt good at all.

Totally disagree. He was way better in the 90's before he got on all the drugs. You don't think he's on drugs now? He looks and sounds blowed out most of the time. He's always talking about drugs. He put his endorsement on the Cocaine video lol.

The shit talk then ass kissing of certain artists with bullshit reasons, the wanting to all of a sudden be politically correct, suddenly calling artists that they would have shit talked years ago cool, the welcoming of random non juggalos to their festival made for juggalos.

I either think they are trying to sell out or that they were sell outs in the 90s and are now being themselves. Either way, doesn't matter to me as long as they don't completely sell out and make music that I still like

Am I getting trolled?

-Singing

-Smoking weed

-Strictly happiness (Shangri-La)

-Zug Izland was his rock fantasies he mocked

-Numerous festivals

-Sending out singles to get on the radio

-Begging juggalos to get them on TRL

-Changing for the mainstream to bring them back

-Going soft

And many more. These are things they used to say they wouldn't do. Then they did them. That's selling out. You have to try hard to justify that as not selling out.

they sung on melinko

had way more weed songs a decade ago was never strictly that tho..

shangri la had depression & evil.. forecast/bridge

one song..

2 festivals

they did that with dog beats & coc

not the same as what was said & that was only once regardless

they were never accepted in the 1st place

in a sense but not completely they still rap about crazy shit.. its just toned down..

if anyone's trollin it's you.. like i said.. try harder… & in that vid/song they didnt say they were gonna just barely dabble into that shit they said they were FULLY going in those directions… which they obviously never did…

I agree with Lucem. This is who they truly are. They used to mock it and say they wouldn't do all this stuff. But they did it and don't care. It is what it is. But don't make excuses and pretend like they didn't sell out. As soon as they got a little mainstream attention in the last couple years they were going to drop 'juggalo' from the Gathering of the Juggalos. It was going to be renamed to the Gathering Music Festival lol. If juggalos can't see the significance of that, shit. I don't know what to say.

So are you saying they are trying to distance themselves from the word juggalo? I don't get it...They are about to spend vast sums of money defending our name. Sell outs or not they love this family man. We put food on their tables

ICP's name nor Psychopathic's name is on that lawsuit. I don't think it'll be some huge deal at first anyway. Just them trying to get it removed. We'll see what happens if the FBI doesn't budge and how far they're willing to take it. And it's not just for our honor. It's also because it's effecting/going to effect their business.

I don't know if they were trying to distance themselves from the word juggalo in general but for their "music festival" they sure were. Why else would they do that? But it backfired when juggalos realized what was happening and bitched about it. They know juggalos scare people away and since they were getting some mainstream press.... put one and one together. But they made the right move changing it back so good for them.

So why would they be spending their money if our name didn't matter? It is a big deal though man. Not just for juggalos but everyone. They are trying to tell us what we can and can't listen to. It is very significant in my eyes. They are gonna sell shitloads of merch whether we are on a gang list or not.

You are just implying that they would give up the juggalos for a little mainstream attention. I understand its a business but I can't buy into that man. Of course they are in it to make money but it doesn't mean they don't love us. We are their bread and butter man

Because they're already losing money getting their merch pulled and can lose venues due to being considered gang rallies. It's more than just the juggalo name. It's everything Psychopathic related that goes with it that's being effected right now. If they don't make a move they're going to bleed a slow death. They had to make a move. And I know it's a big deal but I mean in court it's going to start small. Court cases take time and that's when the money piles on. So if they can get it removed asap without spending much, it's really not a big deal and it'll be back to business as usual. But if the FBI doesn't budge, that's when it'll be a huge deal.

Again they know juggalos scare people away and it's simple. They want more fans. They're not going to exclude juggalos completely but they do do things to shed their reputation to attempt to gain more fans. Like the Miracles video to shed the reputation they only make murder music. Juggalos already knew that but they made a video to show the world. Juggalos got made fun of even more after that video but ICP didn't seem to care because they were getting more press than ever. Boy were they giddy they were getting all this attention. MTV, dressing as goofs on the George Lopez show, Spin interviews showing off his family. Anyone and everyone they used to diss they were giving their attention to. They played that Miracles shit on the American Psychos Tour knowing how much of a stain it was to juggalos. Hey it'll still be called the Gathering but we'll just brush the juggalo name under the carpet so people won't be scared away. But at least with that they listened and changed it. Oh hey SNL is dissing us for our shitty infomercials that juggalos don't even like so let's keep making them because it's mainstream attention. And not only that let's flatter them by saying how honored we are that they're dissing us and taking a shit on every juggalo out there. They went to SNL and asked if they could perform on their show! SNL's response? Put them in a skit about 'being in the closet' which J says in the skit and I quote "it's great to be here, it's an honor to be here". The Village Voice ran a piece called 'Revenge of the Losers' for their gathering recap. Violent J was like 'Eh, I don't agree. But that's ok. I'll still give you an interview and anything you want from me'. That type of shit. They're so concerned with their reputation to the outside world sometimes that it does come off as insincere when they talk juggalo love. Juggalos have to sit there and listen to J complain constantly about their reputation when juggalos don't give a shit about their reputation. It's basically J saying juggalos aren't enough. That's a slap in the face to every juggalo that J cares more about his reputation than he does them. If it was really family love, then family would be all that matters. He had that motto during the Shangri-La era and he was sincere about it but now a days it ain't enough for him.

The outcome of all this is the mainstream still doesn't care about ICP and a lot of juggalos are sick of all this stupid shit too and are leaving. Artists are leaving. But you know what? This all happened before. After ICP desperately tried to get on TRL back in the day and juggalos were dropping off like flies, he had a moment of clarity for TFTLP and going in to Shangri-La that he didn't need acceptance from the mainstream to be happy. And dude was happy as fuck during the Shangri-La era when he realized and accepted God and juggalos were like the Hulkamania life force to his happiness lol. So can he realize it again? History is repeating itself so we'll see. I'm not a hater. I want everything to be turned around for the better again. It sucks watching the scene I grew up with going through this shit again. I don't want this to die but if it's going to keep being ass like it has been, it's going to.

bottom line, its arguable that tech may or may have not acquired the success he has now with our without juggalos, but one must remember that he wouldnt have no where near the big fan base he has now without the support if the juggalos.

juggalos make up close to 50% of his fan base, and juggalos were the only ones putting him on up until the Killer era in 08 when nobody took him seriously. if tech didnt already have that ungerground notoriety from us, he wouldve had no fan base to grow with.....it would've been VERY difficult for him to put himself in the spotlight if nobody gave a shit about him back in 03 ya' know.

but mad props to tech n9ne, he may not have PSY artists on his albums YET,,,but hes always makes time to play the gathering, shows love to the juggalos, and im sure if ICP or psychopathic records was tryna get one of their artists on one of tech n9ne's tours, im sure tech would welcome them with open arms.

Tech has used and abused psy and subnoize since the beginning. He came on to the scene sucking everyone's dick to get the whole loyal juggalo fan base going. He's never extended the hand to any underground rappers on his shit (besides hopsin cause hes making noise) as pay back because he's a crying greedy c#nt dying for mainstream success. He only uses everyone as a stepping stone. Aside from vintage tech which is old shit anyway, and a handful of songs, his music has straight up sucked since absolute power anyway. Techs guests are also only ever black and he dreams of having a black fan base but happy to take the white kids money in the mean time. If tech ain't a sellout fan stealing bitch then what's with that fake kod album bullshit and lol Wayne crap. Angelic and absolute power will always rock even while tech continues to flop. The prick also needs to show respect to psy and subnoize because he never really paid his dues

Icp havnt sold out. Their catalog is incredible. 20 yrs in the game ofcourse your gonna experiment with different sounds. Icp have a Fuck ton of money. A lot more then tech and they Ha've made it in large doing what juggalos want. Their doin whatever the Fuck they want musically. I like tech he's dope. But as soon as the guy found out Wayne was feeling him he ran n hopped on his Dickensian hard.. complete forgot juggalos n kmk fans. Compare anghellic or absolute power to his new work. I like all 6s and 7s but that's a straight up mainstream sounding pop album. Tech will never achieve what icp have.
