I’ll start I suppose having just got a record player and have been slowly but surely getting addicted lol
Violent J – Wizard of the Hood
Shaggy 2 Dope – FTFO (would be cool if they included the original Fuck Off EP or a bundle deal with the new solo included on vinyl as well)
The Riddlebox
Purple Gang – 9 Pistolas
Wraith Shangri-La (reissue or something)
throw some others out doesn’t have to be just Psychopathic either

I’m ready for the vinyl fad to be over personally lol
why?
just cuz?
myself, i can confidently say that collecting vinyl is a hobby i wont be gettin into until after i win some lotto.
but i spend money on odd shit that i dont need and barely use, nonetheless. i see nothing wrong with vinyl collecting. and by extension, nothin wrong with companies offerin licorice pizza to the collectors who are tryin to get it.
im still waitin for the 8-track fad to kick in. everybody seems to have made it a point to skip that one.

I’m curious to see if anyone taps into the 8-track nostalgia. Why not? I see cassettes may be making a less than triumphant return but a return nonetheless.
Personally I’d love to see all releases out on vinyl. Was kinda bummed that Lex’s album didn’t have that option.

No reason in particular. I guess I just don’t see the point. Nothing wrong with it, just feel like it’s being over done. I liked how it was before in that vinyl pressings were extremely limited. So getting your hands on em was special.

Some of us were collecting vinyl pre record store days inception(the catalyst to make collecting vinyl a “fad”) but I agree back in the day I could buy a stack of records from Waterloo or half price books mad cheap. Since its rise in popularity or a ” fad” they started pushing the prices up to steep eBay vulture of culture prices.

…
unless youre like ninety years old, this seems a strange statement.
i mean, i get what youre sayin. still.
[edit] errrrr-! screeching halt.
for some reason, i read that as meaning ‘before there were vinyl collector stores’. forgot about the hallmark holiday.

Milenko is the gold standard being the most known album of theirs
Personally i’d ask for a “Greatest hits” style vinyl of all the first 5 jokers cards + EP’s + 1 or 2 newer songs
Mutilation Mix was their first Greatest Hits. It doesn’t include full songs, but it is nice and rare.

Milenko for sure and maybe the first release of Forgotten Freshness
Anyone notice the white Great Milenko vinyl on the turntable in one of those photos that Vice put up when they interviewed them and took photos of the warehouse/ studio and shit? I remember thinking ”I need dat doe!”
I want everything from the first six era on vinyl, even though every time I buy vinyl I feel stupid because they just sit there and the only records that get spins are cheap ass dollar bin shits that I cut samples off of. Still would be nice to have.

dunno if ive mentioned this before, but i always wanted em to do another mutilation mix. first one covered the first three cards [‘original title: halfway there’], second coulda been milenko through wraith.
and, if they had done that, right about now wed be due for a third mutilation mix. bang pow boom through links.
okay, yeah, it woulda just been a mix of stuff we mostly already had. but mutilation mix was one of the first tapes me and mine got our hands on, cuz it was still sorta new at the time. and it gave us some access to a buncha shit we didnt know about yet. even if most songs were clipped.
even after we got all the other albums, i still gave the mix props. i thought of it as the house of wonders single, which happened to have a ton of stuff on the b-side.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

I’m hoping for a Milenko performed in its entirety tour with the album turning 20 this year
COC also turns 25 this year…
