another thing that gets me, is that these cd books always seem to be on the floors of their cars, or some place like that, and theyre full of dirt and grit.
i keep mine in storage boxes, except for the favorites, which stay in a big rack. to each his own.
yeah the floor does seem like the place that most of those cases end up . at one time i was guilty of that myself
until i had to start replacing the messed up ones
but like you now i keep most if not all my cds in a cabinet put away so they cant get damaged

no, and thats not the point. they do it because the know people will go out and cop 3 copies.
and that it is forcing it down peoples throat. maybe if they had released a double cd a few months later, wit say the best of smothered covered and chunked and pop emoporium on one disk and freaky tales on another disk for 15 bucks i could understand. but the way they did it insured good album sales.
I htink thats a cop out on the fans, its great for making money, but if you keep screwing as much coin outta your 'family' as you can, they might just leave you.
Tech n9ne didnt need to release 3 different copies of 6s and 7s to those numbers in the first week, why should icp, tehy been around longer and have a huge dedicated fanbase. (walmart clean version for people who didnt want the swearing, so 2 copies)
I think its more about being able to load the album sales for billboard over making more on the CDs. At least now. there were 4 versions of jekel bros, no different music, just different art work. At least with this one, there were 3 full length albums attached to it. so if you lok at it like you are buying the bonus album and getting the jokers card for free, it dont sound so bad to you, for billboard, it looksl ike they sell at least 2x then they really do
it is better these days then in the past with the multiple versions at least.

I have all my music merch loaded into my study, it very rarely leaves, as everything goes straight on my ipod. cds are so outdated.
its pretty much all behind glass doors. ive replaced bustd and broken shit over the years, when i could spare the money, but i think my icp collection has pretty much come to an end.
i think the whole thing from the first just goes to prove my point again. but the whole multiple cds then if only a part of what i have a problem with about icp and the psychopathic roster. my main problem is im not hearing that same base message as i was before. that is what has changed and that is why i think psychopathic is turning in on itself.
juggalos are turning on each other nowadays, maybe it was happening 10 - 15 years ago i dont know. but from what i remember of my experience, fam was all love, and stupid shit could be forgiven. now it seems its back to what it was before, theres little to no unity.

technically theres like 10+ milenkos cds…. & the only 2 companies involved were hollywood & island...
i consider myself schooled hahaha
back then, i was amazed to see a second version of the album. but even still that was once. now every psychopathic release urges 'hardcore fans' to purchase multiple copies (gang rags, medicine bag, BPB, MDP, Twiztids collector cards and whatever else there is that i cannot remember) to keep their collection fresh and current, while ICP is collecting your money for leftovers and 1 or 2 extra songs.
To be fair, MDP had full albums with each version, which to me is like buying three different albums and they all come with MDP. With BPB it was bullshit though, there was no reason why they couldn't just come out with the Nuclear Edition to begin with. Same with Medicine Bag.

First, the multiple Death Pop is a trick on Billboard to get an ICP record to the top spot, thats why it got released 5 days early, to get a 12 day release week and screw the establishment, also so that way they can look at the rest of the world and tell them to fuck off because ICP would be the #1 band in the country and its unfuckwithable. Having 99% of your peers in the industry telling you that you suck for 22 years and then your the undisputed best, if only for a week, is a career highlight period.
Second, the original Lotus promo is in the first PSY-1015 pressing of TOL, with the 967-2200 hotline number, along with the promos for the Son of Silence album by Legz and Chaos Theory EP, 6 years early. Milenko came in 4 colors, red-purple-green -gold, on both Island and Hollywood. The green-purple-red could be taken out and put together and the gold had all three already assembled in the booklet.
Third, after 22 years of being the craziest shit on the road you cant go a million MPH forever. The Clash went throught the same type of shit ICP gets, they started as a punk band then with each successive album they incorperated more styles to thier sound and by the time they broke up in 1982 they were a completely different band that alienated 75% of thier fans that they started with. ICP moves from thier original sound considerably less but with each new album more and more old school ninjas look at the new shit and feel less and less attached to it because its not what they thought it was gonna be like or its not as outta nowhere that it was. You gotta quit having the sound of the record already made up in your head, it never works out for you, just let the record be and enjoy that they can still put records out.
Fourth, you gotta just roll with this deck and wait till the 2nd Shangri-la and Hell's Pit come to figure out what this deck is about, they wouldnt have used the Joker Deck moniker without the grapefruits to bring something that can stand next to the first deck. We're all here because the music is good and we and the hippies are the only people on this planet with a sence of community. Also with Rob back in the fold Psy will pull its head out of its own ass shortly.

Yeah for a fact lotus didn't show up till the mostatseless reissue. Twiztid were not signed until late 97. Tunnel of love came out in 96 and had ads for chaos theory and legz solo. Quit spitting bullshit like its fact. There were more than 4 milenkos, gold, green, red, purple, pink, and purple without the silver. Get schooled
