obviously this is opinion but i havent heard “dope shit” from twiztid/tech in a good 8 yrs.. while Found shit’s on their redundant mediocrity.. i was gonna give ’em the benefit of the doubt cuz ive never really felt seven’s beat but he actually came correct for once with Found! haha

I agree with you. My only argument here is that Tech and Twiztid conceivably just feed me doper pop songs. “I Got These Feelings” sounds like some 80’s New Wave had a BoomBap Baby, and I’m okay with this. I often tell people ‘The Devil Inside’ is my favorite Peter Gabriel song, but I digress.

Now this is a loaded statement. I will say straight away that ICP never said they made Tech- Sure it was implied, to a degree, but the real takeaway for the astute listener was that ICP broke Tech to a national audience and target demographic (and that Tech is a big fat copying coppidy cat but I’ll get to that in a moment), that’s…likely the truth. However that was true in 2002, that’s fifteen years ago and certainly long enough for him to stand on his own two feet and get credit for his own achievements. I often say ‘x owes Juggalos!’ is a meme, and it is. It can be true to some degree, but when you have Tech’s monumental talent you have to realize that this claim comes with an expiration date that passed not long after Everready.

Someone close to me made the mistake of pointing out that J doesn’t speak for her (a Juggalette), and she was annoyed with the fact that J kicked up shit with another rapper she liked over who-copied-whose business model and claimed he did it on her behalf, when the core issue had nothing to do with the community. I told her not to say anything, this issue is fundamentally retarded and to leave it alone. But she was legitimately curious why getting fat props at a live show wasn’t enough, and wanted to state publicly that it’s cool to have your opinions on shit but don’t hide behind me to do it. She was then personally attacked by an ardent ICP fan and I had to drink Toldyaso Tea while reaffirming my core belief that Facebook is cancer.

On the flip side of the equation, J seems to be saying a lot of things that Juggalos have been saying about Tech and Twiztid for years. These were never my grievances personally, but there is something to be said about that. Another very intelligent non Juggalo friend of mine pointed out that to somebody like myself who likes to examine all angles of a situation, J’s actions might seem manic and misguided, but that kind of passion is a show of balls that you have to respect. J might not be right, but there’s something honorable about picking a position and defending it. I think Juggalos who aren’t necessarily the blindly following variety see that and are inspired to stand on one side of that hard line based off that merit.

I personally still think the whole thing is retarded but it ain’t like I never rode the short bus before.

So, I’ve been noticing something. I ain’t really a regular here, so consider this an outsider looking in kind of thing…

everytime someone has beef with psychopathic; it’s NEVER with psychopathic. It’s always with Joe Bruce. All the way back to the early days, people like Tali Demon. She never had a problem with ICP, never had a problem with Psychopathic. She had a problem with Joe Bruce.

Even now with Twiztid, they don’t seem to have a problem with “psychopathic records”. they have a problem with…Joe Bruce…

and every time someone has a problem with Joe Bruce, every time someone says “fuck him”, or even just “He’s on some shady shit, don’t believe everything you hear”. it seems like the same mother fuckers are always on his defense. “Tali demon is just bitter she didn’t get signed” “twiztid are just out for themselves” “fuck tech n9ne, he just wants more money” “blahzay roze is just a hoe riding dick to get famous”. etc. etc. etc.

So, lemmie ask ya’ll a question. How many people have to come out and say Joe Bruce is on the shady shit before you start to question that maybe the problem isn’t that Twiztid is out for themselves. Maybe Tali Demon isn’t a bitter hoe. Maybe the problem is Joe Bruce?

I guess dude. 

To me one thing has nothing to do with the other. Like at all.

VIP money was a Strange innovation in the first place. Tech did it before PSY and they copied his template on that one. Not that he should be proud of that. VIP = hound dog but facts are facts. That “VIP money” was his anyways… let him have it.

This is absolutely true. But I even said he IMPROVED upon what PSY and Subnoize was doing. I gave credit where it’s due.

TECH’s #1 asset is his work ethic to tour. Also back in the day his street team would hand you a sampler on the way out the door, which is strong.

The whole song is NOT a diss. Tech’s verse wasn’t either. It was simply a response to J’s statements made on the HOT 97 interview. None of which was a diss either.
