When I first started going to shows, we just chanted “ICP”.  We lined up hours before doors and rushed the stage as soon as they opened trying to get as close as possible.  I never really cared for ‘family’ chants, though I don’t mind whoop whoop; we were doing woop woop in 2003, so I don’t think it’s a very new thing.

There’s always a subset of any fan base that makes being a fan some sort of competition.  What other people decide to do is no reflection on me.  The younger fans look a lot like us older fans did back then, they do a lot of the same stuff we did.  Only difference is there’s less of them and the music has changed quite a bit, but I’ll keep going to shows for the music.

Ive been listening to them for two or three years. Its probably obvious. I really dont care i grew up a punker man im well used to the whole poser shit. I used to literally beat kids up if if they wore a shirt i didnt like or cuz tbey werent schooled in the misfits or if they didnt go to local shows and shit….enforcing ur ideas ideas on someone no matter what they are is not freedom. Nazi bullshit. Instaed of giving him some old albums and hang out with him and talk i acted like a dick. When i first started in the shit i was getting the shit slapped out of me my crust punks for wearing an afi shirt cuz the lead singer looks gay. Then i got older and psycho and stsrted would do shit just to beat thr shit out of punkers that would try to check me. I probably wont ever do that to a nother juggalo no matter what but it is a sore spot in person. Dont preach non conformity thru conformity. I know it feels good to be part of so.ething for a long time and to feel superior to others but u can blow that shit out your ass. 

This shit is madd entertaining….I really like seeing/reading everyone’s point of view on things.  For that one dude that started this thread back in ’13….Dude I’ve been at Detroit shows since the fuckin beginning homie and there are MADD stupid (old and young) Juggalos there too fam!  Name an era you wanna talk about and we can chop it.  The fuck you talkin about son.  Dumb fuckin ppl are everywhere….its damn near the same as it is now.  You got the younger crowd and the older crowds its ALWAYS been like that!!!  The only thing i do agree with you on is that “feeling” I agree there.  It was impossible for ICP to keep that going, but their doing the best they can.  Nothing was better than calling that hotline and getting the updates.  Or being apart of the fan club when you would get local show flyers in your mailbox!  Going to Rock of Ages, and or Record Time for those classic in-stores back then. Trust me……I know……I lived it.  But please don’t bash the young Juggalos just cuz they were not around 25 fuckin years ago!  lol my god man….Cheers to everyone.
